Lewis Richards signs

Richards has signed for an undisclosed fee on a 2 year deal with option of another year. Hughes only said the other day that we can’t pay fees and yesterday nothing in the pipeline.

 

Grumps maybe keeping it quite we have dibble in the piggy .......greedy agents and all that

I think they saw him as a wing back but it did say at the time he was brought in for his versatility

 

Good age with a bit of experience a fee paid as well which will excite some people. Looking forward to seeing him so we can judge for ourselves

If he's half as good as the last defender we had with that surname he'll do for me.

 

Very strong at Harrogate last time. Possibly just what we need, potentially a great signing

 

Was he used as a LB or CB there? Foulds was playing LB from Jan wasn’t he?

 

But what if he's only as good as the last player we signed from Wolves ?

 

I'll reserve judgement based on our hit and miss recruitment but its certainly an area that needed strengthening. Lets hope he's a hit.

On paper sounds like a good signing and hopefully what we need at LWB. Although you can't read too much into this, Simon Weaver described losing him last January as a "blow" so he must have done reasonably well for Harrogate.

 

Hughes says identified as someone who fits into system formation.

Undisclosed fee let's hope he's the left hand side answer we badly need.

 

His surname was Richards-Everton, so no.
