    Following on from the Stuart McCall/Sky Sports affair, I've heard that a group of Bradford City Ambassadors are sponsoring the Guiseley game, with James Mason attending as their guest of honour.

    To recognise their thanks for his contribution to City, and for helping build the Bantams Family fan base over the last few years, they wanted to pay tribute to him by having the sponsor's name as 'The James Mason Appreciation Society'.

    Guiseley had no issues with this. Given that James lives in Guiseley and it's their first opportunity to wish him well on the next chapter of his career, they thought this would be a nice way to say farewell.

    Guiseley then received an email from Bradford City objecting on the grounds that it may cause 'fan unrest'!.

    On the back of this, Guiseley have now refused to allow the sponsorship for fear of upsetting City.

    Edin you are an embarrassment to our club.

    Where have you got this from Dave?

    I've not spent much time commenting on this board because of the optimistic happy clapper but if true, more deep concerns surrounding the club.

    It's an obvious and pathetic dig at the owners and Masons departure.

    Not sure it matters mate where I got it from, it just goes to show even though he says they are learning Edin certainly isn't, lets see if the T&A have the balls to write an article about it, over to you Simon Parker.

    James had nothing to do with this game @Lordbantam@Lordbantam , the arragment's were made in good faith with the Guiseley club, who didn't see a problem, especially him also being a lad living in Guiseley.

    You mean the City Ambassadors are wanting to stir the shit ? For what end ?

    The person(s) feeding you the info also need to have a look at themselves and see how much division between fans they are causing it's simply not needed, if the Ambassadors want to run the club how they want to, then get a consortium together and buy the club.

    As Guiseley didn't have a problem why shouldn't they show there appreciation for what he did whilst at the club.

    They are doing it in a way to provoke a reaction and will be used as something else to bash the owners about, it needs to stop, it's doing more harm than good.

    What a weird thing to do if true. What on earth would be the point of trying to sponsor a game with a ridiculous name like that. I would imagine Mason would have a been a bit embarrassed about that.
    However, I suspect no more than a bit of mischief making by somebody such as our ex kitman
