Last game against Wimbledon

Im going to have to use a little 'tongue' emoji, to let folk know when it's lodged firmly in my cheek on my posts.
There only seems to be @Onside picks up on it.

 

You make me laugh, togetherness!!! Firstly you have to respect your fellow professionals, and that includes the manager. This a results business and those that have not contributed to the squad or the team should be asked to leave. I don’t want to hear about the squabbling or they didn’t like the management style or any other such nonsense. They were brought to this club to play for Bradford City to the best of their ability, and if they are not up to the standard, then they have to leave.

 

If we are down by the last game we should all leave at half time.Let them play the last 45 mins of a miserable season in an empty stadium

 

And that will achieve ................. ??

 

I’d prefer it if nothing gets in the way of the last game to be honest. It’s always an emotional day and the thought of focusing my efforts and anger towards this team is the last thing I want to be doing on the 4th of May.

 

It's wrong but footballers down tools and mainly due to the manager or managers.

You only have to look at Manchester Utd and Chelsea of players downing tools. It happens!

Would get a glimpse of the future as to what could happen if we don't mend our ways and start to struggle in L2

The fact that Messrs Rupp and Rhodes are already making inroads to improving our situation tells me they already have got the message. It appears some fans do not see and appreciate that fact. Come August Kick Off, and those same fans will be tub thumping their undying support ....... Talk about double standards. Whatever happened to the sticking together through thick and thin mantra ?

You’re gonna have to explain this one to me. Celebrate defeat? This ain’t a cup final, its a relegation to the bottom feeders division. There are no positives to this situation, clapping our hands won’t make any difference.
As i mentioned yesterday playoffs and/or promotion are absolute bare minimum next season, anything less is pure mediocrity.

 

Depends on what the "competitive budget" can bring in.

I certainly wont be expecting playoffs if City are stuck with the current dross not leaving and a lack of options are brought in.
At least we get a pre-season this time and maybe McElhone stays to help.

Have i missed something where improvements/solid plans have been announced/made and put in to action ??
August is a football fans time for unlimited optimism all of the 92 clubs are going to win the league
sadly (including us 88 will be disappointed
As for sticking together through thick and thin our fans have always been loyal and will turn up and
"Tub Thump" when they have effort as the bare minimum to watch
Like you i have seen far less gifted players but have appreciated their commitment and effort

 

Agree with you if or when we go down we need to come back up. My personal belief will be to stay positive. Depression can be a bad thing especially for elderly males. We need to get rid of the dross no messing about and start again.
