Last game against Wimbledon

    Someone posted the other day they would attend the last few home games and of course the last home game on Saturday 4th May with regards the memorial, what will be interesting is just before the end of the game when the announcer says "Please don't run onto the pitch, the players will come back out and take you applause for their contribution this season".
    Will anyone actually stay back and applaud, it will be one very embarrassing situation, and although I didn't leave early today I can't see myself staying back against Wimbledon to show any sign of appreciation for their efforts, sad I know but at the moment that's exactly how I feel about these players at our club.
    How do you feel about it ?

    Damned if they do, damned if they don’t.

    Whilst I agree they deserve little or no applause, if they didn’t come out and give it back to the fans it would be the most disrespectful thing both players and club could do to those who have had to endure this forgetful season.

    I won't be there. I will have a moment of quiet reflection about the fire victims on my own. I will not turn up to support this useless bunch of 'footballers'. They don't give a feck and why should I? I am utterly sick of hearing the soundbites about not giving in (NKP this week being the latest example). Just shut up and do it on the pitch. I don't expect world beaters, but some effort wouldn't go amiss would it?

    When the poor tired dears (it's been a long season for them) re emerge for the lap of honour
    Will they actually run ??
    The whole crowd should go completely silent and turn their backs to them

    Will they bring Reeves out on a stretcher to take his share of the applause? I suggest we all wear red noses to show the players that they've made clowns out of us.

    Lots and lots of boxes of rotten tomatoes should be placed around the ground and any lap of honour should be greeted by pelting them all with them.

    The only reason I will be there is to respect the fans we have lost.
    The team can feck right off the bunch of worthless tossers. And if I can make it be known they aren't worth the shirt I will.

    Which one the fans not staying back or our brazen faced players coming back out to take their bows for their efforts in the past season, I'll be long gone once that final whistle goes.

    You might get the usual happy clappers staying behind but after the performances of late if I was a player I'd be embarrassed to even think about coming back out.
