    Don’t you think it’s odd having Monday off surely it’s the ideal day to go threw the game Saturday and talk about what went right / wrong. By the time Tuesday has come I Carnt remember what went on Saturday ( sometimes for the best )

    Yes I believe it is something relatively new I'm sure when Parky was manager they trained on a Monday.

    Why does it say in the official statement from the club 'Bowyer will take training for the first time this morning' if we don't train on Mondays?

    He's apparently had one to one meetings with every single player today as well as arranging a game for tomorrow to have a look at the out of favour players. That's an impressive first day by anyone's standards.

    Sounds a sensible start and am impressed if he has done this, A new manager coming in has to do one to ones to gauge the individual character, A practice game to judge the rest seems sensible also to look at all the options and not the previous managers view of players, A good start

    Agree it doesn't have to be full on training, but the game against Huddersfield will tell Bowyer about players, Saturdays selections will be interesting, I thought Drury might have buried the hatchet but the usual suspects not even making the bench suggests to me he saw how they reacted to Hopkin and maybe he'd had a belly full of those players ?

    Maybe he knew he only had one game and felt it best to just keep it as it was?

    I see no reason why Bowyer is given free reign to make his mind up over the famous 3/4 and I’m sure he will be. Him and Todd can surely judge a player now. If they play and give their all for the remaining games they can do more for me. It’s another fresh start for all, as bad as they may have been in the past.
