@Lost Mackem, I think your suggestion that posters on here are being defensive because they are challenging your analysis of a player who has made a series of tweets that suggests he is frustrated with his in ability to maintain a 1st team place is way off the mark. I am fully aware of mental health issues, but I don’t assume that a player has MH issues with very little evidence displayed on social media. I would also suggest that if ppl feel ill with MH issues, then the very last place you should be is on social media. We do have a team doctor who would no doubt have picked up on these issues, not to mention his parents.

You can raise any issue you wish on here, and I will guarantee you sympathy and derision in equal proportion; it is a football forum mainly to discuss football issues. Plus fans on here are not alway Political correct; that doesn’t mean they are without sympathy. Also they may not have personal knowledge of MH, and therefore have little understanding of the issues. I have found persuasion is the best way rather than being ‘told off’.

Attention seeker that needs to grow up and knuckle down if he wants to make a career out of football. You usually find with teenagers that they write something like he has just to get a reaction, and I've got 5 kids that actually aren't teens anymore thank god.He's definitely got talent but talent isn't enough without putting in the effort, and with the comments from Grayson it looks like he needs to up his efforts. If his comments about not been in the squad for today then he needs to fight for that spot because he's got some good players in his positions and will take some shifting i.e.: Payne , Scannell , Wright and Robinson.

Am I missing something?. Where is he having a tantrum about not playing today?

 

Hopefully someone who knows him has picked up the phone and spoken with him because it looks like whatever is going on he can't cope with it by himself.

 

I apologise profusely if I am wrong and don't wish to lessen the gravity of mental health issues, but I am sure this tweet was discussed at the time and if I recall he was meaning "done being overlooked at City", not "everything" as in life.

 

Snowflake is the word people who lack empathy use when they can't understand how other people understand things better than them.

 

I like the racist undertones of the term.

It's also a great way for people to self-identify as being incredibly insecure and threatened

Possibly yes, but he's a 20 year old lad who bagged himself a contract extension a few weeks ago and is now just a week away from the start of the new season, but is tweeting that he is 'done with everything'. The lad should be buzzing, not fishing for sympathy on social media with his 'poor me' attitude.

 

Plus since he signed that contract we've signed about 2 new players who can play in his position and have Hamill here training with us.

Hamill would be a great signing for us also.

Maybe, Jordan just expects to walk into Bradford City's 1st team.

He needs to shut up on social for one.
