Probably just me putting 2 and 2 together and making 6000. I was part of a conversation and he was mentioned. Either way he is worth a look at.

Kieran Agard has left Plymouth.... wouldn't be a transfer season without us bring linked to him at some point in the coming days for what feels like the 11th window in a row.

Plymouth record this season was 3 goals in 5 starts, 11 goaless cameos off the bench in all competitions. Only played 477 minutes for Plymouth, goal every 159 mins. Might be something left in there at 32 years old? More than likely another Robinson type, looking for some final contracts.

 

Not for me. Would much rather go for someone younger that has potential and hunger to improve.

 

Argyle fans seem very surprised on the whole judging by the Twitter reaction.

He wants regular first team football, which is fair enough, and he'll only get that here if Cook is injured.

I think he'll probably end up with a League Two side, or maybe a good NLP side. Although some players at the end of their careers head abroad, too.

 

Yeah I reckon a Stevenage/Crawley/Colchester type might end up having him for the season if he finds a L2 club.

NL side, maybe Chesterfield if Tshimanga leaves? Rotherham linked to him again this week to replace Ladapo. Sounding like a miracle if Chesterfield hang onto him this window, and with Danny Rowe likely to never play for them again they'll be looking for another named forward.

All a bit funny that. He’s not played for months. Last time I looked on the Chesterfield forums even their fans seemed to be in the dark. There was some talk of a long Covid issue but not sure how much there is in that.

 

Has a health issue and may be forced to retire.

Chesterfield boss said Rowe wont be playing again this year in an interview last week, rumour on the Chesterfield forums last week was that he has a heart condition and is forced to retire shortly. Apparently it goes back to his time at City when ti was discovered.

Their belief is when Rowe missed some time early Feb to get checks over an 'illness' they found something, Rowe started 3 in a row before his illness, completing 90 twice. After that time out, Rowe never played 90 again for City, in fact Rowe only played over 60 minutes in 5 of his last 15 games for City and they were very spread apart. Similar story after signing for Chesterfield, he only completed 4 of his 11 chances at 90 this season for Chesterfield and hasn't played since October 23rd. They seem to think he'd have struggled to get a team, and they took the bite because it's either his brother or brother in law who is high up at Chesterfield. All rumour from their forums but they are keeping it very hush hush.

 

Why won't Rowe play for them again ? Has he been a naughty boy ? Asking for a friend.

If City knew about something so serious surely they would have had to tell Chesterfield? Maybe not legally but morally at least, imagine if he’d dropped dead while playing there’s a reason Erikson can’t get insured and clubs won’t touch him for instance.

Not that I believe that’s the case but poor from Sparks, Turnbull, T & S or whoever was involved if that’s the case. Can’t see it like.
