    I accept what some say about Gilliead but if we want to improve going forward then we need to make room for better players and he is one we need to replace with better along with Lavery and Evans

    Another thing we don’t seem to do is tap into clubs higher up and taking some of their younger players. Noticed Port Vale have signed a Huddersfield player who’s highly thought of. Surely being local we could tap into this.
    I know a lot of these loans don’t work but as a backup option is it any worse than what we have?

    For every Lewis O Brien there are a dozen Jacob Hanson's, and if we are talking about the latter rather than the former then yes, they are worse than what we already have.

    You can’t help but laugh sometimes when reading this forum. On today’s episode of “Lets have a meltdown”, Fans are up in arms because Bradford City only allegedly offered a 5 figure sum for a 6th tier player.

    Yep, but signing a player from the 5th tier who is the same age as Charman and has scored bucket loads more goals than him would have been too risky last season because he 'isn't proven at this level'.

    Can’t say I’m a fan of bringing in young loans as back up options, been there done that. The only reason to bring loans in imo is to bring in players to good for us to afford, your Cullen’s, Burke’s, Pickford’s and O’Brien’s. Otherwise I’d rather just stick one of our youngsters on the bench.

    Defender Scott Wootton has left Morecambe today to pursue a new challenge elsewhere. Ex Plymouth too. Valley Parade bound perhaps to link up with Adams again?
