Owner gave up long ago, it’s a case of fend for yourselves and don’t cost me any money.

Regardless of people’s thoughts on the CEO and manager, until the owner changes we’ll be just floating around hoping not to sink.

 

Dear oh dear, doesn't that just sum up this club?

An owner who refuses to invest, a CEO who doesn't understand the concept of speculating to accumulate and a manager who takes pride in the fact he's only spent £40k in his career.

This cheap and shoddy attitude and mindset is ingrained throughout the club so it's no wonder we're going nowhere.

As much as I like to slag off Rupp, this attitude has been around since Richmond left, fams even defend it and hide behind the at least we’re not Bury argument. The City as a whole really is just cheap and nasty and the football club falls in line with it.

 

Look at the games in 1982 where would win 3/2 or 4/3. Exciting football. Give me a keen strike force and a slightly dodgy defence over a mean defence and a dodgy set of strikers everytime. 4/3 trumps 1.0

If Angol is out for the season, and we are approaching the player cap, surely we should de-register him from the squad. What's the point hoping we can get him back for the last two games of the season ?

 

Why would we sign someone on loan that we don't play..... Oh....

 

This is life under Rupp. Only loans can save us.

Start boycotting and buy a firestick folks (for the Netflix of course ). If we want to go anywhere but DOWN then it's time to start making him uncomfortable.

Buys us when we're top end of League 1. His partner puts in to place their JOINT plan and we regress every season and now we're here stuck in L2 a few years later. Now he doesn't want to put money in. We're held hostage as his little toy that he can brag about owning for as little expense as possible.

The only thing important to Rupp is his reputation. Demonstrated by the fact the only time you've heard from him was regarding WAGMI calling him a liar. Only pipes up to protect himself with a bit of positive PR, no goals or aspirations for the club at all.

 

So with potentially no strike force and perhaps a decent keeper (who doesn’t sound like the first choice target) coming in how many 0-0s before the end of the season?

I’m going for 9

 

And exactly why he was hired.
Promotion (hopefully) on the cheap.

 

If he gets deregistered then surely he will be signing for us in the summer??

 

Just listened to Adams latest interview, the guy just says what he wants and doesn't answer the actual question put to him. No wonder this club is all over the place, virtually everything that was said pre window has resulted in the same old mish mash, it's hard to tell who is more invisible- Lord Luton or Sparks, and Cooks back starting tomorrow and we have Robinson and Lavery as back ups! Yippee

I've come to accept that whilst Rupp is about, this club will sit within the basement league. The bloke has diseased this club and his disease, spreads through the club breeding in apathy and failure.

It's the hope that kills amongst some. Expect less not more and that hope will not strangle you.
