When we say “midfielder”, I assume it to mean someone in the middle, not a “wide man”. 4 or 5 of the above are wide men. Songo’o is a defensive midfielder, the rest are forward thinking (apparently!)

Derek Adams himself was a centre midfielder I think?

I was looking at Georgie Kelly earlier, he would be an UNBELIEVABLE signing.

I suspect Championship & League One clubs will be after him, because he's a stand out, but last I heard he was linked to the continent, which just sounds to me like no one is fully committing to buying him. I'm sure he'd rather play in the UK than Holland, Belgium or Scandinavia.

I think this would be the most exciting signing we could make - but he's more linked to clubs like Sunderland than us.

 

If we get him, I hope he’s more Bobby than Bazza!

This appears to be the type of annual target we name because we have little chance of securing but shows the fans we are trying to be ambitious, and not our fault better placed clubs will be signing him.

What on earth are you smoking. He is in Ireland and anyone from that league is a gamble, the standard isn’t good enough to quote that he is championship standard. I’m not saying we shouldn’t try but we shouldn’t be blowing too much money on him.

 

Haha, what? The best players from both Irish leagues routinely play at a high level in England.

Stuart Dallas, James McClean, Enda Stevens, Ryan Manning, Chiedze Ogbene, Daryl Horgan, to name a few. These players specifically moved after their academy years.

Ireland is a great place to sign players from, and the best generally end up at Championship or SPL sides.

I wouldn't worry though, we probably won't sign this lad, and he could be playing Championship football with Rotherham next season.

 

Well, also from his side, he'd want the best deal possible and league one clubs would be able to offer more but what makes the whole thing odd is why to name him, like you say.

 

Keiffer Moore - never really in for him but makes the club look good to the fans !

 

That was my initial thought, you’d think the club would be learned a lesson from that of anyone is still here from that time that is.
