Couldnt be arsed reading it in full. Just like I cant be arsed listening to GBs press conferences and am struggling getting interested in anything BCAFC related at the moment. Dull dull dull. Just thought I'd put the article out there given theres absolutely nothing happening, even though this is the 2nd of 3 transfer windows GB said hed need. Tumble weed.....

I thought he meant 3 SUMMER transfer windows?

 

You inherit a squad from the league above and sign umpteen players from L1, coveted strikers, no excuses now, this 3 window thing is absolute crap.

 

Aha we inherited a squad 8 points adrift at the bottom probably one of our worst teams in our history and that is saying something. And we are level on points with automatic promotion above the teams who finished above us. We have a great home record and a poor away on which needs putting right but anyone who says where we are is not an achievement is not telling the truth

 

As things stand, the History records will not show any achievement by BCAFC. We must wait until May for any such back slapping - City are just one of about TEN Clubs handily placed and 'on track' for a successful season.

Not really Bowyers fault that our goalkeeper got crocked. He had to bring in an experienced keeper on loan even if it means having to leave one of the loan players out.

 

imagine if he hadn't of signed an experienced 'keeper on loan after o'donnell's injury and scunthorpe put a few past sykes-kenworthy.. bowyer would have been crucified for not bringing someone in. he can't win with some. he reacted to an unforeseen circumstance in the correct manner.

He signed a back up in the summer. If he's not good enough to cover then why sign him in thre first place.

But you could argue if S-K isn’t good enough why did he send Hornby out on loan. You can’t rely on any keeper to go all season without an injury. If Bowyer is being credited for responding to an emergency what would he have done if O’Donnell’s injury had occurred next month not this. You might say that in a way Bowyer got lucky and avoided the stick you rightly say he would have got.

 

He’s have just called Hornby nothing timpani about here

 

So Hornby would be good enough in February but isn't good enough in January?
