Plymouth have lost their best winger as he’s been recalled to Swansea so I think this is what has promoted the move. Portsmouth were interested too. It’s a loss without a doubt but he’s replaceable.

 

We'll miss Wright but did we all honestly think we would get through this transfer window without losing out.
It's all well and good wanting to move on the deadwood within our squad but other clubs want your best players obviously.
Wright falls into that category and he didn't belong to us and performed well in his time with us, attracting attention from other suitors in the process.
Good luck to the lad hope it works out for him.
Now the hard work begins replacing his undoubted pace and match commitment something every team requires.

 

He’s signing for someone 5 points clear at the top of the league above . Not sure the club can do anything here .

Wright owes us nothing. He was brought in to do a job for us and he did it.

If he was our player we could feel agrieved but he is Aston Villas. Plymouth can offer him alot more than we can right now. Career and wages.

Get any loan out of your heads. There is no way that Plymouth will be paying a fee for him and loaning him out to get him "Championship Ready". If this is true, which it looks like it is, then he is going to play a part in their final push. He's good enough to start in League One.

Good luck to the lad, but this just shows the fragility of loan players.

Pierra no chance, I’m not greatly enamoured by your second choice either.

 

No chance… He’s massively gone down in my estimation. He was bright in a poor team, he’s now proven lazy in a workmanlike side. So not for me.

 

Shame about Wright, but that's what you have to accept when loan players do well. It's a success story and now we have to move onto the next one.

 

Hopefully Derbyshire comes in and picks up the mantle quickly.

 

I would think that Eisa will play in Wrights position on Tuesday but I’d be looking now to sign a quick striker to play in Wrights position in this formation rather than another winger.

 

I've not been impressed with Eisa. Now, fair enough he's coming back from real injury problems but if we're expecting him to fill the void then there's a real risk that we weaken the team at a time when we need to strengthen.

Time to show real ambition and bring in a quality replacement, and a top quality midfielder, then push for top 3.
