A lot of players seem to be dropping down to non-league now as the money is going up all of the time with more and more clubs being professional. For players like Alex Jones they might extend their career playing non-league football and it gives them a chance to develop a long term career away from football if they are part time.

 

A bit of movement now in the transfer market.Surprised to see Matty Dolan going back to Hartlepool on loan from Newport,who seem to be shipping a few players out.

 

Grimsby fans seem the think Vernam has been made available by Lincoln. If true, I'd have him back without hesitation.

 

I can't see it, that ship has well and truly sailed. Also, with our new shape he definitely wouldn't fit into our system.

 

I suggested in the summer that the potential issue with DP is attitude and why I didn't feel he was the right signing nor the right fit for the team ethics.

I've nothing to back this up but sent back to Yeovil after 1 game, injured apparently. Came under Adams and was 'injured' before finding gametime under Hughes but his tracking back, dirty yards is always missing. Does he really bust a gut? I remember at Salford when the home team got a corner, DP jogging back for the corner. Got a right mouthful of GH and his minutes have been curtailed since.

 

Him or Wright……..Wright for me in all honesty.

 

Lincoln fans think he should go out on loan, that's for sure. Poor final ball is what they say.

 

I've not seen or heard anything with regards Dion being back at Luton, has anyone seen an official statement from the club with regards this rumour.

 

Close for me Kev. Vernam from the end of last season was almost unstoppable at times, like most wingers suffers from inconsistency. I don't think Vernam is any better than Wright though and we have better needs elsewhere.

Wright is younger and can only get better.

 

No thanks. Dont begrudge him his move to Lincoln. Completely understood it but he wasnt up for the fight and his heart wasnt at City so Id avoid him.

 

Or has he been brought back as cover so we can send Hendrie out and bin Oskar the Toska off ?

 

The club have said he's been recalled with a view to going out on loan again

Tyreik Wright leaving City for Plymouth Argyle. Aston Villa have accepted a perm transfer bid. City should be in the market for a winger.
