Nichols won’t move to Bradford I wouldn’t have thought. 29 now and born down South and spent most of his career down there. Can’t see him coming up all this way at all when he would have options closer to home.
Nadesan signed a new 2 year contract in June so would cost us.
I think signing either of them is unlikely.

I would be looking to get rid of Hendrie, Ridehalgh, Songo'o, Sutton and Angol. Majority are out of contract this summer so let them go for free now and get them off the wage bill. I can also see Critchlow and Dion possibly going back.

That will give us some wriggle room to bring in a few new faces. I think we will be fairly active this window despite what Hughes says.

 

Critchlow is staying according to @wetherbywhaler.

 

It doesn't matter what he or anyone else says, if Huddersfield decide he's going back then he's going back.

They could well be telling City he's staying and change their mind before January. Unfortunately we won't really know until February 1st.

There is no reason for Hudds to take Critchlow back. They are happy he is here

 

Your correct I was just quoting what @wetherbywhaler posted, I believe Critchlow will still be here come February, signing the lad Kelly is a good move and may be back up just in case Town do recall Critchlow, I cant see why they would recall him as he is getting regular starts when fit, where as loaning him out to a League One club is a risk as he may not and that is no good for the player or Town, so what about a £10 BBU bet if you think he'll be recalled ?.

 

Where did I say I think he'll be recalled? I just suggested your best mate Roger Owen has about as much of an idea on the matter as the tea lady that serves me my pie at home games.

 

Doesn't matter if he is happy. He's 24 in June and his career is passing him by, if his agent has found him a club to sign on a long term deal for in January or if Huddersfield feel he has a part to play on their bench for the rest of the season then he will go back.

 

The good thing is that Huddersfield are now being run by our own David Baldwin and hopefully he will look favourably on him staying at City. The Town manager may want him back of course but I don’t see him getting in their team.

 

Neither do I but 2 quick injuries to Huddersfield defenders in late January and the situation perhaps flips.

All I'm saying is that the issue, until February 1st will be very fluid and absolutely no one can give any guarantees.

 

When did Baldwin join the Dogs then.

 

I'm not sure they can recall him on Jan 31st. I'm sure I've read somewhere that there's a limited time in the window to recall a player if the club he's at wants him to stay. Perhaps someone can enlighten us.

 

I think you might be right. Somewhere in the back of my mind there's a cut off point but I'm not particularly sure if the date.

 

A few months ago, Dean Hoyle wants to sell the club and has appointed Baldwin to find a buyer. Meanwhile Baldwin is CEO.
