Exactly. I know of at least 2 of 3 other players who've done much worse, and who are lauded. The fact is, we know very little of the private lives and personality, character of our players.

Getting into bed with Leeds, so to speak, is EXACTLY what we should be doing. Establishing ourselves as a learning ground for their young players and building trust and credibility in how we look after and develop their players, would give us a short cut to some of the best young talent in the country (relative to what can be attracted to the lower leagues) and might give us access to players who've beyond the reach of other clubs at this level.
