    Why is it a silly comment . If he signs for Tranmere he will either have to take a big decrease in wages or take up severAl places in their team and if they pay his contract off that also will be added

    Unless he's properly replaced then me too. Season ticket holder for over 30 years but the slow death of the club under the hands of a disinterested German is not something I'll bother wasting my time on.

    That's such a shame @NorthernMonkey@NorthernMonkey and @Andy10@Andy10 not easy after many years thinking of not returning.
    I know my eyes aren't as good as they were but looking at the players training today and not being able to name 25% of the players in attendance is a little sad.
    Usually a pre season is when fans have high expectations for the coming season but I've never felt so unenthusiastic about a coming season before, and this is before were told we have to sit away from friends and relations, that's not the clubs fault but all adds to the despondency going forward.

    It's a part time MSc which is now being promoted by the PFA. It's intended for those players coming towards the end of their career who want to stay in football management but not necessarily on the coaching side. It's being marketed as for future Sporting Directors or Directors of Football and similar roles. Ashley Giles is one of its alumni. We'll see as years go by how successful it is!

    They won't be the only two by a long way
    It's a worrying trend that the long standing fans such as ourselves are no longer able to muster up any enthusiasm for the coming season coupled with the fact we are unable to attract the younger end as fans the future looks bleak even without Covid19
    Fans should be full of optimism for the new season but all I hear is we are selling our best players and replacing them with over the hill journey men We have a chairman who knows nothing of the game a CEO who is itching to find his replacement we are an advertising company's nightmare no one could put enough "spin" on next season to make it appealing to the majority of fans
