Listening to the fans forum Ryan said with regards Vaughan, "we would not want the likes of James Vaughan to walk out of our club and we certainly wouldn't hand him to a rival, without significant compensation !!!, he corrects himself at the start by changing from "we will not" to we would not want.
Once again in a case where a player does not feel he wants to play for said club the player wins.

 

So we had a player we could have sold.. But didn't.

And people say city are a well run outfit.

On this occasion my gut instinct tells me Vaughan didn't want to fit in.
He had other ulterior motives and choose to exercise them with pure petulance to get his way.

nobody is questioning if Vaughan wanted out or not, that was clear..what people are questioning is the way the club have allowed it to happen.

 

I do think this isnt as clear cut as people make out, its possible at the pre-season meeting he had Vaughan was indifferent to leaving and now has downed tools. Very unprofessional and i would suggest scummy even.

But on the brighter side does free up a large wage whilst hitting tranmere with the 'wage cap' in place!
I wonder if he will try and get a pacey number 9 in now.

 

Think back to January when we sent him out to Tranmere on loan
He had obviously "fallen out" with Bowyer and instead of the board having the balls to sack the manager which they did too late and after the transfer window closed (no coincidence) we sided with him and Vaughan our best striker had to go any fool could spot the mistake there
Second kick in the nuts was buying Guthrie as a replacement hardly like for like and I can see why Vaughan would have been offended with that
Wasn't going to give them chance for the third

In all seriousness some of you just don't know the club you follow.

You've this Rhodes is great mindset some of you but don't understand how he operates. Vaughan was always leaving the club. 100% he was leaving!

Listen to me I tell it how it really is...Some of you need to learn how to handle the truth.

So with two signings in Spearing and Vaughan Tranmere have a better squad than us.

The only positive is that we have 2 months to get another forward in but if anyone thinks Novak, Donaldson, Clarke and Guthrie a good forward line up then they are firmly on drugs.
