I reckon she was blocked for just being annoying. It stops her tagging the club into any tweets I think? I don’t really use Twitter much so have never been blocked by anyone that I know about

 

It is normal practise for top management positions to be put on gardening leave when they hand their notice in. It means when they can start a new job at the end of their notice period any information they have is dated

 

That won’t be it. They could have “muted” her. Blocked people can still be tagged.

Blocking her seems a bit excessive after everything she put into the club.

But what I will say is there’s two sides to every story.

 

it’s like an ex that’s still hanging around to try and stay relevant. at the end of the day, she signed the NDA and took the money - nobody forced her hand and if it principle that was key and she was treated so badly then she would have taken it to a tribunal.

it’s all looking a bit desperate and childish now.

 

Wouldn't her signing of the NDA suggest there is something that the club don't want her to say about the goings on at Valley Parade ?.

 

Id have thought the decent bloke that James is he won’t have been attending games as he wouldn’t want to put edin under more pressure with his presence and cause more unrest at the club

 

possibly but don’t take the money and run, then start trying to cause problems after. if the treatment was that bad and horrible, don’t take the money - stand and fight your corner. employee rights, unions etc would be there to support any employee with a grievance with their bosses.

mason and some have acted with dignity throughout, unfortunately some others haven’t.

 

But the NDA will run out at sometime won't it ?, allowing Wendy to pass comments about here time at the club.

 

So if you blocked me on Twitter I would still be able to tag you in a post, but not be able to read your reply?

 

Depends what time scale is included in it. It could end when she dies

 

so why not wait rather than risk breaking the NDA now? at the end of the day, if my boss had been so horrible to me i'd be wanting a tribunal, not money. money is almost an admittance that it wasn't too bad and money could solve the problem.

keeping dropping hints and repetitive digs at the club, whilst still taking the money is petty and unprincipled in my book - either take the money and stay quiet with dignity or stick to your principles and see it through. if your case is that strong, you'll be better at the end of it anyway. can't have it both ways, now it just appears like a disgruntled ex-employee with an axe to grind.

 

When I spoke to him before he left the club he told me a buys around 20 season tickets for him and family members so I would be surprised if he didn't attend.

EDIT the above James has not attended a game this season.

 

Just asking for clarification, do we know she did not take her situation to a tribunal and her pay out was based on a NDA.

If it goes to tribunal and you win, you win with no strings attached. Alternatively you agree a deal before the decision is made.

 

It must have been some pay out for a woman to accept a NDA until she dies .
