I am not sure if you were invited to meet with Rahic because you were involved with Bingley Bantams or a ‘random fan’.
I have not been contacted by the club to meet with Rahic, I am not aware of anyone else, so why would he seek to talk to you and whoever else was involved?
The question is a straight forward one. Why is it so difficult to answer that? I am not asking you to disclose what was said, but very interested on the basis as to why you met.

 

So who were they? How did they get selected? Did they go? Did you go? It just seems so unexplained!

 

I get why former sponsors would have been invited to meet with Rahic. However is @City-since-67 someone who has that commercial relationship with the club, or were they invited to meet with Rahic because they are a member of Bingley Bantams, or a random fan? If it is a random fan, then how come no one else has been invited? What on earth happeneded at that meeting, so that no further meetings have taken place, which have been made public. Credit to @City-since-67 for being frank and letting people know, but he and his friends, as fans seem to be totally unique!

Have a look at post #24. @City-since-67 confirms that the Bingley Bantams meeting with Rahic was as an 'official supporters branch'. It can't be much clearer than that.

So the basis of his invitation to a meeting with Rahic was all around his (and others unnamed) members of Bingley Bantams being officials of that organisation. If @City-since-67 was not a member and an ‘official’ then he would not have been invited. So despite going along on that basis of his position in Bingley Bantams, he has not had a meeting with the membership of Bingley Bantams and informed them of the outcome!

Anyone who uses their ‘power’, but then hides the information from their own membership that gave them that role in the first place............ well in my opinion it ‘beggars belief ‘!

I recall some very telling observations in Orwell’s novel, Animal Farm!

 

That might have been a flippant comment but on a serious point, why would the owners place the club in Administration when that would result almost instantaneously in them losing their original €6mill?

 

It's not quite that. But skipping over the technicalities, there are plenty of things the owners can do to avoid them placing the club in Administration as you say. To infer therefore that Administration is inevitable is just misleading or mischief making on your part.

Every year, four clubs are relegated from Div 1 to Div 2. How many of these clubs have been placed in Administration because they were relegated? Despite what you say, history doesn't suggest that one follows the other.
