I think after reading James Masons tweet it's pretty clear mate the club are in financial trouble, will Stefan step in and bail his buddies incompetence out, time will tell.

The club is in a serious mess simply being bottom of the table and looking at a significant drop in attendances.

I don't know if Mason means it's even MORE serious than that, maybe he does - but it's already very bad.

It's not clear at all. Because no one at club has said it. Until someone at the club actually says so then it's all BS on here as per.

He hasn’t said a great deal only that it is serious and we should support Julian, tick. We have had a series of accountants and financial advisors on this forum who are also City fans. Not one has indicated that we are close to financial meltdown. However, they were looking at the previous years figures!

I can’t see it Broncs, the old adage of throwing good money after bad comes to mind. But would Julian get his hands dirty yet again with admin? I know it is difficult for the club to tell us everything especially finances, but these heavy loaded tweets and rumours just keep coming.

I was just going to post something similar.

“Things are serious” - what things?

“Rumours about Edin” - what rumours?

    Fully agree RCB
It's well past the time when the club or one of its past/present employees stood up and told the truth about what is or isn't going on
We can all draw our own different conclusions on whatever the current rumour is but without knowing for certain the truth are generally wide of the mark
One thing for certain is that all the uncertainties are doing nobody any good least of all the team who lack confidence and ability As you say it's TIME TO PUT UP OR SHUT UP for the good of the club

Things are, not based on rumour but our league position and falling income.

Don't know how you get to that conclusion Dave from JM tweet
I read it as we are in serious trouble at the wrong end of the table and the team is not capable of getting us out of it hence we need to get behind the boys The financial side is a bit of mystery ok reduced income can not be denied but outgoings on wages etc must be at an all time low
Always liked JM he has the club at heart but veiled tweets not saying anything but suggesting plenty is not good for morale

You don’t think Mason and Rhodes have spoken to each other this week? That Mason doesn’t know the fact and the rumours? I can’t believe anything other than relegation would be very serious for the club.

As you say, accountants can only go on the figures they have. Likely the accounts up to April 18 haven't even been filed yet? (I haven't looked), so no one will know what is going on. Especially as the real trouble may have started in the last 6 months, so it would 've another 12 months before any accountant could even look at the books and spot signed of trouble.

As for Rupp... he deserves as good as he gets. I believe he started with a business opportunity, and a mate that had a keen interest in that opportunity. But Rupp being the business man that he is, should have realised a LONG time ago that his mate was making the wrong calls.

If things do get worse, and Rupp doesn't stump up to get us out of the mess he is just as much culpable for.... I hope he loses out on a lot if money, because that's all he was in it for.

    I know.. utter bollocks.

If things are bad then the owners need to announce to the world that the club is up for sale and f&ck off.

    Simple really.

Am certain both know the exact position of the club both on and off the pitch
But for whatever reason neither have put the long suffering and heartbeat of the club the fans in the picture
Rumours are destroying the fan base every bit as much as the teams poor form I have watched us play absolute garbage in Div 4 and still look forward to the next match plenty of fans on here have done the same we all know something's wrong for goodness sake somebody from the club tell us what

My own view ( i've already made my feelings clear ) ,If we go down with the current board and team the season tickets will not finnance the club , i see and admin coming up, and also can foresee the club folding . Drastic ? , yes it is, but the damage inflicted by Rahic and Rupp has destroyed the core of this club .
On social media various forums the rumours and ITK correspondents are all spouting this is what i've heard / know , the silence from the club is deafening , for the owners and others saying it's the fans etc that are the prime cause of the situation is quite frankly disgraceful . If the owners are serious about their ambions and visions fine tell the fans , and if rumours of money problems again be honest and up front with the fans .
You only have to look at the conference and see teams that not long ago were members of the EFL and are know struggling in that league on meager crowds . That could well be us in 2 seasons thats how bad i feel it is , i can remeber years ago attending matches at VP and BPA when fans walked round the pitch at HT holding blankets for fans to throw money in to pay the players wages .
Dont for 1 minute think we are too big to fall out of the EFL , i would hope that someone high up in the club would come out a say what the problems are at VP and either confirm or deny the current situation , it does the club nor our fan base any good with the constent finger pointing and blame culture that has accelerated over the last 6 months .

ummmm, serious because we are at the bottom of the table, lost 6 on the trot, and don't look like winning a game this year maybe?

The only positive i can scrape from things at the minute regarding finances, would we be offering the discounted entry and free coaches if we were skint? It wont be a massive amount but if we really didnt have a pot to piss in, surely the cash would be better utilsed elsewhere. After all 500 extra fans at Peterborough will not win us the game nor will the 2000 on the gate at home to oxford spend the £24 shortfall in ticket pricing on teas and coffees

I get really pissed off as I seem to be the only Bradford City supporter not to be in the know. I blame my wife, if I didn’t move 120 miles away from Valley Parade I might have been like everyone else and known what was going on (big the keep it a secret, but let everyone know I was keeping it a secret heee heee heee!! )

Mate, we've lost 3k season ticket holders this season and it's clear that we could lose 1-3k next season if we don't go down and 3-5k if we do.

What Rhodes is trying to do is win back some fans at a small cost.

However, you do realise that the get in for £1 pays for the free coaches. City not really spending anything. Do the maths.

Mason stirring the pot to try and cause harm to a relegation rival who are taking action to try and turn the tide.

    Don't fall into the trap.

It is an attempt to halt/reverse the dwindling physical support for the club and to protect the income stream for next season, as well as generating support for the current team.

The finances can't look too healthy for next season.
