I read it as the bid hasn't come from one of the sides from League One that had previously bid. So I wouldn't be surprised if its another club in that league. I saw some talk of Charlton and Derby potentially being interested on Twitter earlier..

 

I really is that easy if the club are happy to keep him, but with nothing coming out of the club do they have the same opinion.

 

They have both money and form.... can you imagine £150k plus Sutton. Can you imagine the meltdown on here

We are all speculating on what Jake Young is thinking. Personally if I was him I certainly wouldn't be over excited about the stature of the club's showing interest in me. If he cracks on here and adds another 7/8 goals to his tally he will be in more demand in the summer, probably from better, more established clubs than Carlisle, Exeter or Port Vale.

The club may have asked young to keep quiet, just in case a very good offer from a club that would also be a good move for him. Telling him that he is part of the manager's plans going forward but at the same time if the club get a very good offer from a club that is also a good move for him for his future development they will let him know.
Every player has his (or her's) price.

 

Exactly he will remain a city player unless any club match the valuation. The question is will Jake call city’s bluff stayingbinjured till the last minute

 

Agree every player certainly at our level has a price my reply was to @Tingleyb saying why doesn't Jake make a statement.
All up in the air with various scenarios, let's just say Exeter who have been quoted as having an interest meet the clubs valuation I'm not sure that would be a good move moving forward, League One obviously has it's benefits finance wise although I'm not sure it would be big enough to get the lad to up sticks and go all the way down to Exeter,

 

It all depends on what Young really wants and what the club really want. If the club really want him to stay then play him in the next game and then it's all done for now. If he really wants to go hang on until the bitter end and then take the best offer if it's acceptable to all parties. The trouble is it isn't clear who wants what, perhaps even to themselves. My guess is that he wants to go.

 

I’d hope Sparkes took a breather from licking Daras ass and offer him to Peterborough at a decent price a sell on clause and loaned back for season.
