Palestine didn't invade Israel.

 

It's the same thing isn't it? It certainly represents the same thing.

 

Not sure it is tbh. Flags and lighting up in colours is incendiary in my view. It also divides the crowd whereas when you keep a minute’s silence for the victims of violence you can stand with your own thoughts.

 

Not when people boo, jeer or sing during the silence. That's far more inciteful than a colourful arch advice the stadium imo.

 

Well if that happens then no more silences. If ppl cannot respect victims of violence it is very sad. We will have to hold different views on this matter.

Iran has eventually shown its face and threatening Israel they will open other fronts of fighting if Israel do not stop bombing in Palestine. We are as near as anytime I can remember to all out WW3. If Iran do that the US will look to support Israel.

 

When Iran won't allow the nuclear weapons inspectors to make inspection it doesn't take a fool to reason out why, Trump pull the US financial help for a reason, and Sleepy Joe went back to funding terror, it's only a matter of time with these religious fanatics.
let's hope someone who can be trusted can mediate between the two countries, but when one has proclaimed the State of Israel should be wiped from the face of the earth it won't be easy.

 

Unfortunately there are religious fanatics on both sides Dave. The Israeli government is in thrall to hardline ultra Orthodox Jewish groups who believe that the West Bank (internationally agreed as Palestinian territory) ‘belongs’ to Israel and are determined to drive Palestinians out of the territory to create a much larger Israeli state. We often hear about the wishes of Hamas to see Israel wiped off the map, but rarely hear about the Jewish religious fanatics who want to see Palestine disappear completely. None of this justifies the recent massacre of innocent Jews, but it does help explain why many (but by no means all) Palestinians support Hamas - they are understandably fearful of being driven out of their homes and made stateless.

Exactly that the acts of barbarism from Hamas were unforgivable and these brutal killers should be hunted down. But after that Israel and the rest of the word have to take the matter of Palestine seriously and find a solution so that there can be some sort of harmony.

This is an excellent article, written by a Jewish journalist.
In it he bemoans the scale and utter barbarism of the recent Hamas massacre of innocent Jews and correctly differentiates between the justified cause of Palestinian rights and the ‘curse’ of Hamas upon that cause.
However, he also blames Netanyahu for his criminal complacency in taking his eye off the ball - driven by his reliance on the support of hardline ultra-orthodox Jews whose obsession with colonising the West Bank at the expense of protecting the south allowed Hamas the breathing space to plan and execute the recent atrocities. He also fears that this will be used as an excuse to drive Palestinians out of their Gaza homeland completely.

Nobody is playing down this act of utter murderous barbarism. But the edit is right both Jewish and Palestine people have the right to exist in peace. Holding people down with an iron fist breeds resentment and hatred. It’s time the international community got together until a just solution is found

 

My take is that this planet will never find peace until all religions are debunked, should teach all the kids of the world astronomy and what really is out there .......
