You have to ask yourself why Hamas attacked Israel knowing Netanyahu was possibly the most far right Prime Minister Israel could have elected.
I honestly believe there could be a positive outcome for the world if Israel can get a change of regime in Iran, it might not go down well with some but when Netanyahu stood up at the UN and said Iran was not merely a threat to Israel but to the world I don't think he was far wrong, a fundamental Islamic regime like they have with nuclear capability is more worrying IMO than Russian sabre rattling.

That would require a level of predictability.

That may be an issue with Iran.

The situation in Iran is very similar to many Middle Eastern countries they are run by a dictatorship (unfortunately the west have to take a large part of the blame for that) any criticism from within Iran is quickly supressed, as with Syria, Afghanistan and many more Middle Eastern countries or in fact many other countries around the world not all Islamic Republics.
Again a lot will depend on the US Presidency out come I believe Trump will turn a blind eye to what ever Israel want to do with regards retaliation on Iran bearing in mind one of the first things Trump did when elected US President was to withdraw the US from the agreement many countries has signed up to with regards Iran and its nuclear programme, he saw through the game they were playing with other countries not allowing inspectors in to see how they were going with regards only using uranium for their nuclear power and not a nuclear warhead, just how stupid can these (including our government) be, no inspections then screw the sanction down even more they have made the West look fools.

A month or two ago the BBC interviewed one of the Hamas leaders, not sure how far us as so many are getting whipped out it's hard to keep up. But he basically justified the 7th of October as necessary to get the worlds eyes on Palestine. Hamas are absolutely getting what they want out of this, they are happy for civilians to be used as meat shields and it's the reason the death toll is so much higher than in the Ukraine for instance. Then it gets labelled genocide, even better for their sympathy vote. Ultimately it comes down to it been a holy war, if the shoe was on the other foot Palestine would happily do the same, as would Iran. But if we are to call it genocide then fair enough, but it's time to hold the likes of Blair and Bush to account and label what the likes of the US and UK have done in the same light. Nope instead these leaders are still listened to too this day.

https://bantamtalk.com/index.php?threads/israel.7548/page-3#post-799433, as @WilsdenBantam@WilsdenBantam has posted above Hamas don't care about the Palestinian people its a sectarian driven war, as with their backers Iran they prefer to wipe Jews and Israel off the face of the earth its not about land, which sadly is where we find ourselves, could Israel have stopped the war and handed back Palestine, does anyone seriously believed this present situation would not occur again in the near future.
I've asked this question in the passed once Israel has cleansed Palestine of Hamas will it be handed back with a UN peace force in control, I very much doubt it will be handed back to the Palestinian people without massive assurances, would they be allowed to have free elections without interference from the likes of Iran, would they go down the road of re electing the likes of Hamas for what they have seen with regards the destruction of their land and the deaths of innocent men, women and children that came with the destruction of Hamas, a recognised terrorist group by many countries around the world and past and present UK governments but never referred to a terrorist group by the likes of the BBC from the very day they committed those atrocities on October 7th 2023, shame on these media platforms who try to make them out as freedom fighters.

Khans London. A total cesspit. Imagine handing your capital city over to Muslim rule, because that is what is happening. Our ancestors will be turning in their graves, while all the do gooders continue to defend the scumbags who are trying to turn this country into a nation of Islam

    Absolutely disgusting

You’re in denial if you think otherwise. The level of anti-Britishness in our capital and the attitudes of those supposedly running the place is beyond comprehension

There are small pockets of anti Britishness. The vast majority of London is absolutely fine.

Regardless of the size of the pockets, it’s what it manifests into that is the greatest issue, and that is what they’re letting happen

Similar analogy to Bradford, stay away from the shitholes and it's generally alright.

The biggest problem with Bradford though is that the "shitholes" you need to stay away from are increasing with every passing year.

There are lots of small pockets though. My son lives in Kilburn atm, he's been in London 12 yrs in different areas and I can assure you there is plenty anti British feeling wherever he's been. Granted he doesn't live amongst retired teachers, social workers and predominantly left leaning professionals, just normal folk trying to earn a crust. Living in bfd I can assure you there is enough anti British sentiment to make me start to feel slightly uncomfortable at times. If you think that your bubble represents the country, my experience suggests you're wrong but then we have different bubbles I suppose. My granddaughter's experiences at a c of e school has been a real eye opener about how some young Muslims are taught to think so it may be isolated pockets in your view but for a start they shouldn't be there and there are far more of them than you may think. Your social circle is a very limited demographic from the comments you've made previously and although the gist of your leanings I'm in agreement with, the reality is at odds with what seems to be happening on a street level. I'd love us all to get on and mix but things are changing the social narrative has produced entitlement on one side and resentment on the other in equal amounts. Through my job and friendship group I've got a mix of high flying law types who embrace the woke narrative nicely because it actually doesn't affect them directly, and tradesmen who graft their arses off, normal working class folk and I can tell you that they are getting really really pissed off with what's happening in their country. Folk who ten years ago were fairly accepting of the need for integration and tolerance are increasingly angry and unfortunately now, anyone who publicly expresses anger at what they feel is happening has no outlet for their feelings without being labelled negatively. I'm pleased that your bubble is floating along nicely but unfortunately not everyone is in that bubble. Division is growing and there are lots of bubbles that don't float along as harmoniously as we'd like.

Great post Salty, and a accurate insight into the realities of the situation we find ourselves in, shame our resident lefties are in constant denial, but why I wonder... ?

Very similar to your recent posts about Trump though imo. Your posts sometimes read like you're happy to accept any "hysteria" you've read if it fits in with your narrative but completely reject any "hysteria" that doesn't.
