The chances of both of those things aligning is a lot further apart than you think.

I was waiting for you to sour the mood

 

I'd fancy us to beat anyone if we got in the play-offs.

However, provided we finish positively, i.e. unbeaten with a final home win - then we've plenty of optimism for next season.

Let's be honest the first ten games were wasted to such a degree, that it took another ten or so games to get our season going - yet we could end up within a two or three points of the play-offs.

I'm liking that front line. It's Kavanagh for me that's made the difference as we now have one of those busy 'pests', that often come to VP and make themself an equal nusaiance, doing that to other teams.

 

I think donny will take one of the two remaining spots as even a point at Colchester on Tuesday puts them in a strong position.

but if we beat Barrow on Tuesday and Grimsby, who won today, can hold Crawley to a draw on the final day, we may sneak in - if we can then beat Newport…..

beating Barrow won’t be easy though.
