If the board are serious about promotion

I posted the other week the drill they were doing was two banks of cut outs the players ran between them and hopefully connected with the ball being crossed unfortunatly the sucsess rate was very poor, not merely not scoring but not making the keeper work.
I was a seriously gob smacked, in my younger days I'd have backed myself to have at least hit the target.

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw question marks over the training sessions. I was dying to watch more but I had an appointment and couldn't miss the train. Would've been interesting to see more that day. Looked boring and no fun what I saw. Should look to make the sessions more competitive which would provide a bit of banter and bring the squad together. Was all very quiet when I was there as mentioned earlier just going through the motions. No intensity on the training pitch is filtering on to the matchday one.

 

I saw the same thing when I went to watch them in the Christmas holidays. Simple routine, pass out wide to a 'winger' who would send the ball in low and hard, finish first time from about 8 yards out, with just a keeper to beat. The whole thing was laughable. I seriously considered wandering over with my lad so that he could fetch all the balls back that they smashed over. Any that did get on target were straight at the keeper. I genuinely couldn't believe what I was watching.

 

There has been a consistent person throughout that somehow manages to keep his job. Maybe Gary needs to look into this?

 

Plenty of annoyingly short videos and clips get churned out but no statements that matter.

Is it any wonder. I bet Bowyer sits on his sofa on a night doing sums on his Casio digital watch then has a quick stamp licking session before retiring to bed.

There’s no charisma or passion there. Drury is just a Rylan look-a-like and probably offers as much meaningful input on the training ground as the Supermarket Sweep presenter would.
