That is what is so annoying. We have seen our team getting absolutely hammered in the last two away games and a barely presentable match at home after months on sub standard football. We get adverts and bombarding with videos telling us to join next year. It really is unacceptable

Bombard us with marketing bummf all they want but until I know which league we’re in next season I’m holding off renewing our 4 season tickets. If it’s league 2 then all mine will be downgraded to something I’ve hated from the beginning.......flexi’s.
If the owners are not prepared to commit then neither am I

I've never had a peep out of the club, ever, yet you are bombarded? Is this Twitter & FB then?

The way I feel at the moment is that there is no one within the club who has the strength and power to get us out of this position something as to happen. If Rupp has put his money into the club somebody is to blame and it need something to happen. I do not know one person who as renewed there season tickets most are hanging on to see what happens .
Unfortunately we don’t have a David Baldwin within the club anymore

All sales require a seller and a buyer. Even if Rupp wanted to sell at a loss then who's gonna buy - and what price would tempt any buyer with "assets" like City have?

But that is frightening if that is all they are using, considering the piss poor website that doesn't get updated enough & lack of any other publicity beyond the T&A.

I think if they were serious they'd have brought a chief scout and scouting team in, instead of letting Bowyer do it on his own. That is criminal and to me voids any right they have to say they've backed him properly this season.

If Bowyer had anything about him, he could have released Anderson and Devine and used their wages to hire a scout or another coach. He could've piped up and mentioned it to Rhodes. Sure the wages of the above should easily be able to cover for a scout and even another coach in the building. Much prefer to add to the staff instead of having wasters like them on the books.

I agree entirely, I think it also goes a long way to explaining why our last few transfer windows have been so chaotic

Well it was just as chaotic when Abbo was doing the scouting. Saying he had players lined up who never existed then we ended up with Brunker.

We need professional scouts with a track record of delivering results. Then we might start to see transfer windows that are calm and professional, and not running round at the last minutes. Once again they are just as vital as footballers.

Agree. We haven’t had a proper off field structure since Parkinson left and took his notes with him, Bowyer hasn’t helped but this problem has been going on long before he arrived.

A fitness coach as well. We look so sluggish and unfit. How much sharper does every team look compared to us. We are just so tinpot. Walked past training the other day and they were doing a shooting drill where the player had the ball 30/40 yards out rolls it out to the winger at a snails pace the wide man runs down the wing under no pressure from any defenders, rolls the ball across to the attacker who has jogged into the box with no defenders to beat? When is that realistic? My drills for my Junior team were more complicated. It didn't represent anything like a match day there was no intensity, absolutely nothing. It was disgraceful to watch, couldn't believe I was watching a 'professional outfit'. They were all just going through the motions and it's carried on to the games. I had to get the train so only caught 10 mins of training. If that's the intensity and the difficulty of the drills they have to do for 2-3 hours training then it's no surprise we play the way we do. The best teams train at the intensity of a match day. If injuries happen so be it. I'd prefer injuries to occur than be so under prepared that teams just walk all over us at will.

Did they practise corner routines? After 31 league games we still haven't scored from one.

Wouldn't say anyone was particularly running it. Bowyer with his hands in his pockets and Drury with his arms folded. I mean from what I saw what is there to coach on that drill. It's what you'd teach an under 7/8's training session. I was dying to go across but what would it achieve? I need to watch a full session. In what game situation can you trickle a ball out wide, The winger ambles down the wing and rolls it across on the floor at 2mph for the attacker to just tap it home on the jog. Just makes no sense and achieves nothing that you can take into a game on the Saturday. Seeing what I saw it makes sense what is going on performance wise. Could you imagine being a pro and having a drill like that to perform. You'd feel patronised for a starters. No competition, no fun involved just baffling.

As mentioned I was only there 10 mins and they were just ambling about with that pointless 'attacking/shooting' drill. If the whole training session is at that pace and intensity level then it's no shock to me how we are performing. It didn't look anything like reflecting a competitive match. Even the keeper doesn't get anything out of it. Can't miss when the ball is put on a plate 8 yards out under no pressure. I was just watching in disbelief. @Bronco@Bronco gets down more than me so he could probably give you a better analysis of the drills and intensity etc.... but the 10 mins I saw were basic, slow, lethargic and was worrying.
