The board are not serious about promotion.

 

Very simple in my eyes.

DO NOT BUY/RENEW OUR SEASON TICKETS.

Until Bowyer is gone.

 

McCall is not the answer love the guy and is a legend but not the answer to move us on.

 

Long term, no hes not. But if money is the barrier to sacking Boywer, McCall might be the only one willing to come in and work for next to nothing until May. His sheer popularity might be enough to temporarily inject a bit of positivity. Cant see it inspiring an ST uptake though. The club is floundering, make no mistake.

Or put another way, if you only had two choices until May - Bowyer or McCall, I know which one most people would choose.

 

My earliest football memory is Wembley against Notts County with my dad and his mates, these things stick with you. Then the next 8 years of good times really made me a life long fan, where as some of my best friends and school friends went on to support Leeds. These are important times to create an impression on the fans of the future.

 

Bombard us with marketing bummf all they want but until I know which league we’re in next season I’m holding off renewing our 4 season tickets. If it’s league 2 then all mine will be downgraded to something I’ve hated from the beginning.......flexi’s.
If the owners are not prepared to commit then neither am I

 

Think we have to look at the bigger picture, this situation will not change until Rupp has left the club and we have someone in who can actually move us on, Rupp may have money but he clearly has no intention of investing it to get us out of this mess, we need a total clearout from top to bottom otherwise if Rupp is still in charge we will continue to shop around for 2nd rate managers and bargain basement players. This is beginning to get like the situation after the Yeovil game and look how that panned out.....

 

He coaches the players, He is a amateur coach trying to coach professional players, We are not organised and look like the defence is not drilled, He has been let go as a coach at Amateur level yet we expect him to coach our players improve them and organise them in to a team,

 

Not defending him at all. Think it was odd that Bowyer didn't/couldnt appoint his own staff. That was an early warning for sure.

 

Why the feck are we not hearing from the board I’d even take a chuffin vote of confidence that would be the start of the removal process !!!!

Disgraceful from Rhodes and Rupp

 

Funnily enough that's exactly what I was thinking about last week. The disappointment on the little faces of our younger supporters at Wembley, some of whom I was connected with, was quite heartbreaking. Life can be pretty grim in a place like Bradford and a successful football club can bring a bit of happiness and hope into young lives. We seem to be losing that community feel as a club which is a great shame.

 

They can't mate, he has to go after that. I go to nearly every game and I won't go until a new manager is in place.

 

Me neither. But even then, I'm not sure itll be enough. I want an owner and leadership from the top down that has a clear plan with at least a degree of ambition to move the club forward.

 

The vast majority wont renew until much nearer the deadline no matter what the circumstances are anyhow, so that would not be a gauge of fans voting with their feet

 

I agree with you. But by talking about it, it can only drive the message home to captain admin and the owner!

I think some sort of statement of intent from Rupp/Rhodes is an absolute must. It’s insulting we haven’t heard anything from either of them. Even if it’s backing Bowyer and trying to get fans back on board.
Isn’t Sparks meant to be Director of Communication? He should be banging on the boardroom door demanding some substance to enable him to do the role he’s paid for.

The complete lack of empathy and understanding from the guys at the top, comes across as crass and ignorant.

 

Well it was just as chaotic when Abbo was doing the scouting. Saying he had players lined up who never existed then we ended up with Brunker.

 

It won't be today, mate, Bowyer still has his signings to play and will live to fight another day.

He will just pretend the lumps he's convinced the board to sign will make a difference.
