    Agree Kev. He looked really sharp in pre season against York, but he's looked off the pace and not the usual bundle of energy he is in the 3 games since the start of the season. Hopefully just a blip.

    This has shades of Will Atkinson whereby he started to receive lots of praise for transforming from absolutely awful to below average.

    That said, I'm not yet convinced by East either so there definitely is a shirt up for grabs in that role.

    Sutton is best as a free spirit, but if you nail him down to a specific role then we have better options than him for any position he in plays.

    To me his feet seem to react a second after his brain does. I like the lad but you can see his hamstrings affect his movement.

    He was much better yesterday. Should have gained at least one pen, which in the Prem, using VAR , three would highly likely have been given. I do get your basic point though Dave.

    For what it's worth I've been imporessed with East so far, looks very tidy and I like how he tries to get beyond the strikers from midfield too

    If it's put some belief back into the players and helps them crack on then I'm all for it but as you say, it's about making sure they carry that form forward now. Let's hope that's what happens, and they don't just get carried away and start thinking that all they need to do to win is to turn up.

    Cook deserves all the plaudits for coming back fighting fit although you could ask why he wasn’t last season. Cook has the shirt now and I hope it drives Oliver on to get up to fitness he has proved in the last two years he can score goals at a level above so we have good competition

    To be fair to Critch the TV assessment was he got away without any foul because his speed got him goalside, if he had come in side on it could have been a different outcome

    Yes, he was faster, got in front of him and their forward basically wasn't strong enough to take the body to body contact and fell over. Neither had control of the ball and so a coming together was fair enough for me.
