    Good post. I wholeheartedly agree with another striker, as you denote. That I'm certain will happen and my gut feeling is it will be marquee signing, relative to our level.

    I'm off work due to a dislocated shoulder, so gonna get the game in v Blackburn on Saturday to get a feel of the structure, dynamic, work rate and eh, fitness (this is important I'm led to believe :joy:) of the squad.

    I maybe misread, just say City not a Yorkshire club I’d perhaps get it that’s what you are referring to. I wasn’t referring to Germans in the slightest , coaches , nor chairmen.
    I was indicating chucking tons of money at something isn’t sustainable, nor healthy in the long term for a small club to survive. .

    There's a reason a player with that goal scoring record hadn't been touchéd with a bargepole during his non league days until bat shit crazy Oldham came for him. We were paying him a good whack as well. You could tell straight away something wasn't right and the only thing wrong about getting rid of him was we didn't do it quicker.
