I think it will take a bit longer for the mindset of the club to improve. We have what we have but if fans can see we are being out foxed tactically, you have to know our manager can change things during the game.

Whether it means using subs or changing the formation you can't just let the other team take control and dominate the game without trying something!

 

The players played to instructions, His instructions and he stood and watched it fail for 90 minutes with no attempt to change it,

 

So if the players didn't listen on Saturday why didn't he cancel Sundays day off and get them in for extra training

 

Anyone who thinks the players disobeyed Hopkin's game plan and played hoofball of their own accord, need their heads testing.

Nope, Jason stated what he was told by Hopkin and I believe him, he has no reason to lie. But Hopkin could see our long ball game and did nothing to change it, in fact he encouraged it, waving players forward at goal kicks. It seems his idea was to get it down the sides for Miller, which worked for about 10 minutes but then when it was unsuccessful, Hopkin was happy to return to the default hit and hope.

 

So hopkin is lying to supporters ?

 

No, I 100% believe @Jason McKeown if that was he was told by Hopkin.

Wonder what he thinks though after Saturday's game because for me we did play hoof ball.

I know @Jason McKeown has been standing by Hopkin but all City fans must be questioning him now surely. December just seems a massive purple patch.

We seem a team that lacks direction and ideas.

 

Lying to himself that he isn't a long ball manager more like.
