Sounds to me like its the end of Edin's totalitarian rule - wouldn't have thought this type of interview would have been sanctioned a few months ago.

 

It's a shame he didn't offer this level of control to Parkinson, McCall, Grayson or a half credible manager in the summer. Doubt we'd be 7 points from safety if he did.

 

Be even better if he pissed off and left our club FULL STOP.

I totally agree with DH's comments.

However, due to the critical situation at the club, I'm yet to get a better understanding of how his mind works in dealing with players.
He's openly criticised his squad, he has also praised and defended them. How much this is a deliberate method of his to motivate his squad, I don't know. Or how much is true of his feelings at post match interview.

I feel today's article is a honest one, wearing his heart on his shirt he's basically telling us there's players here that are not what he wants. There's almost a feel of he's given up on several members of the squad, they must know who they are.
The door won't be shut, but the ball will be 100% in the players court now to self-motivate and adapt, letting DH know they want to be part of the great escape.

I doubt you'll see much (if anything) of Reeves, Jones and Scannell again.
McCarten will be sold.
The play-off finalist Bradford City had a weak underbelly, but it's spine was strong, the current squad hasn't even a spine, to have any chance, that needs addressing immediately that window opens.

This is exactly how PP worked when he came im, basically told the dead wood like Branston they weren't good enough and made them train away from the 1st team, only difference is he had the load window to help him

 

No you can sign a player before or on the 1st of jan by 9am i think and is ok to play from that date. It's the only time a deal can be done and a player can play that same day. Usually though everything would be completed beforehand.

Not quite as bad as that, Dave - Though you do brush on a good point.

Some players themselves are aware they're being played 'out of position'. I too accept that. It's the players who are not even making the Bench who need to be concerned. The position is down to them, and them alone to fight their way back into contention. If those players don't like it, or fail to apply themselves - Do we actually want them in the fabric that is BCAFC ? Step up, or move out .......... A simple choice in any workplace, in all walks of life.

 

Wouldnt that be a great for our club, New Year, new start .
