Last post off topic, saw a picture of Gareth Southgate consoling Carlos Bacca who's penalty Jordan Pickford had just saved, I wouldn't think that is the sort of thing Sir Alf would have done after their shambolick/cheating performance that the Colombians had displayed for much of the game.
How the var or any others who were suppose to be viewing the game missed the digging up of the penalty spot is a joke, Ramsey would have whisked the players off no condolences shirt swapping ETC, they were cheats who nearly got though to the next round by cheating.

 

Pretty certain he was doing that as he missed a penalty and knew how bad he'd be feeling.

Did you ever cotton on to the fact that the Groundsman and Teachers were always late when it was pissing it down !
I wanted and needed a 'shower' after the game - not before the damn thing !

Yes, Kev - he wore glasses. He actually married a fellow teacher (forgotten her name - tall and Blonde) when I was in the '3rd grade'
His cohort was Mr Markwell, the History teacher.
The Richardsons both left in Summer 1968, and the new guy took football - Chris Whinston, for my last year.

If you don't have good players you BETTER have a good formation, plan and ensure you play to it,

It is where we went wrong last season. When our players list form it seemed we couldn't change our plan or formation.

 

Thank you, we will see if our formation is the correct one for the coming season to suite the players, Im sure Michael and Martin will have our full support this comming season.

 

@RonnieBrown is the man when it comes to formations, a tricky 7-3-0 maybe?

 

The way our squad is developing nicely, I could take a risk - 7 - 1 - 2 ?
(Not a great fan of 'one up front' !)

 

Hope Akpan: is he simply a committed tackler, or a dirty bugger?
