Just got back from the game.
    We didn't deserve to lose.
    Smash and grab
Quickly move on to Saturday and see if we can get a result
No lack of desire and effort
    Vaughan again disappointing
He needs to up his game because I don't know what he's trying to be.
He's everywhere but down the middle near the goal where he should be.
Unfortunate but still 4th and another chance to go top on Saturday.

Listening to the commentary it sounds as if City need to practise corner kicks. Have we scored from one of the many this season?

Also, Vaughan makes Donaldson look like prime Ronaldo. Akpan of all players threatens the goal more often than him. And to sum the game up even more, Oteh heads away Vaughan's clear cut, unmarked chance 5 yards away from goal. It was written in the stars we'd lose to this poor, poor, poor side.

THAT result was just waiting to happen .............. ALL of us saw this 2nd half against Crawley.
It exposed our squad for what it truly is ........ Threadbare.
Thankfully - Non of Crewe, Newport or Exeter Won.

Was just thinking the same when watching the match. Doesn't seem to be much variation or movement from our players. Most seem to be static while the ball is looped in. What happened to the days when the big lads used to charge in from the edge of the box?

    We came close tonight.
A few last ditch blocks stopping the ball going towards goal

One header against Cheltenham, two back post tap ins against Scunthorpe and Northampton. Rest just get caught or cleared by an unchallenged defender

Bowyer really did us no favours today. No subs, poor formation first half, yes he changed it, but all wrong. That's an away team selection.

Individual mistakes cost us. Too much onus on Cooke and dreadful set pieces.

    Oh well.

At least we were unlucky to lose.

Woeful, absolutely woeful. 3 non creative midfielders at home and not a single change until 1-2 down.

Defence is shocking of late, the whole lot of them backed off Worrall as a unit for the first goal and were far too deep for the second.

Midfield non existent aside from Cooke who was average by his standards. Akpan and Devine absolute gash. And devine playing RM in the second half wtf is that about?

Vaughan - too much back to goal shite, he needs it fed to him facing the goal but we've got no intentions of creating anything down the middle. It's all get it wide and sling it in, even when your only winger is double marked for 90 minutes. All head height crosses despite not being in a position to compete with the hairy arsed centre backs we come up against every week. We're so predictable its ridiculous.

Sorry mate but we were sh@te.

    We couldn't even take corners!!

Mellor is useless.. utter poor but Bowyer's teachers pet! Needs to seriously up his game!!

Bowyer not making subs was a crime.. he needs to find his bottle!

Bradford City 4 out of 10
Bowyer 2 out of 10 - useless and clueless tonight!

Won't apportion blame we bossed the second half, we were chasing the winner and playing silly balls across the backline and unfortunatly its cost us.
We need all three points at Macclesfield and go on another 5/6 game unbeaten run, to many missing tonight and their replacement weren't up to it.

Was the subs board broke ffs?

We needed McCartan on, or any other change, after an hour.

Richards-Everton had a poor game, Mellor was poor, Oteh was poor, Devine was sloppy even if he won the pen. Ismael wasn’t as effective as he has been.

We missed Connolly’s pace and Pritchard in the middle.

We looked to be getting on top before their winner but Bowyer should have subbed half an hour sooner.

A change that would have taken Devine out of midfield, given Vaughan a strike partner and removed Oteh from the left hand side where he was apparently struggling.

Until our injured players return we'll probably get these unfortunate conundrums quite often.
