lad travels during a pandemic when instruction is not to make any unnecessary journeys unless for food, medical appointments or work to take some photos to put on his social media for a match that has already been postponed just to try and make a point.

The decision to call the game off, looks dafter by the minute. Hindsight is a wonderfull thing, though.I live between Queensbury and Thornton and people are getting about on most roads with ease. Surely the 100 yds between Manningham lane and the player entrance at Valley parade could have been cleared. The rest of the Roads down from the m606 were fine.

So what reason do you think will see next Saturday match called off. Floodlights breaking, a swarm of Locusts eating all the grass, a satellite falling out of the sky and landing in the middle of Abby Stadium?

Too much negativity on here. Yes we are in a poor league position but having no game the past three weeks, not much damage has been done. The un -inforced break might have come at a bad time form wise but it has also given weary legs a chance to rest, injuries time to heal. the management team time to get more of their message across and time to re-mould the squad.

Hopefully they get a glamour tie in the 4th round so their heads are elsewhere. Not wanting to get stuck in so as to not risk injury for Anfield, Old Trafford or The Emirates.

Remember when Hopkin was here. We had a hot run, bashing a few teams, then we had the postponements and lost all momentum. There were some divisive characters at the club then though, Payne was awful once his loan had been extended, and there was plenty of trouble behind the scenes.
Hopefully under the current set up, this break will have been a positive in freshening up some of the older players and those who have been on the go non stop.
It has also given Stevens a chance to work this week, so it is possible he might start this one now, whereas a place on the bench seemed likely last weekend.Wolfysmith and How like this. -

Looks like Crawley are selling Watters to Cardiff so can't see him being involved tomorrow. Although they slapped leeds without him so it might not be much of an advantage.

Turns milder tonight. I think there's still a chance it'll be on, as long as any snow in the morning isn't heavy.
Pitch covers generally protect against frost/freezing up to -4, I believe.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

The game might be off but once again Mick Doyle and is team have done a sterling job getting the pitch playable.
Fantastic effort shame the council didn't help but there again it's not the first time and it won't be the last,we aren't a priority obviously in the grand scheme of things.vladimir and Idlebantam like this. -
