Apparently he was very close to signing for Maidstone United before Crawley rolled the dice.

Look, I've said it before at League Two level, you literally can't tell where the top scorer is going to come from. All the analysis in the world of a player's record really doesn't matter as much as how a player fits into a set up.

Stevenage played Tranmere and gain 1 point in a game which most would have thought they would lose. Due to that point now it's they are point closer.

If Grimsby would have beaten Southend then Southend would have a point less meaning they would be 5 points behind us not 4.

And its two points dropped for tranmere meaning we win the rearranged Cowley game and we are two closer to them.

Look up the table not down. Tranmere are within our sights easily

 

Too much negativity on here. Yes we are in a poor league position but having no game the past three weeks, not much damage has been done. The un -inforced break might have come at a bad time form wise but it has also given weary legs a chance to rest,injuries time to heal. the management team time to get more of their message across and time to re-mould the squad.
Every cloud has a sliver lining , the saying goes and that's how i am looking at it.

Whoever was tested positive may well have already been infected last Saturday. Just 4 days ago. Looks like we may have dodged a bullet there.

 

Well it all makes sense now doesnt it. It explains why we called it off before bothering to send gritters out on friday night.

at least we never came into contact with them and don’t have to isolate too.

 

Apparently Crawley were on their way when the decision was made, surely they would have known the situation with regards their players rather than setting off to full fill the fixture.

 

It is possible that the person(s) who subsequently tested positive may not have been aware of it when they set off. However they still could have infected somebody from the City contingent. I don't think for one minute that there was anything out of order from Crawley. We have to give them the benefit of the doubt.
