You need to stick to the LFC chatroom all you do is antagonise the real Bradford supporters.

I thought he looked fitter than our back line when he played against us for the U21s. AK said on the commentary he thought there were senior players in line for game time before him, especially in a comfortable match situation. I still think DMH offers nothing though, although he runs a lot, doesn't have the timing to win headers, or the control to hold the ball up, and doesn't possess the skills to go past anyone. Maybe SMc thinks it's a confidence thing that needs match time without too much pressure

He's supposed to be a winger, but he never ever takes on his fullback, just constantly turns and passes back/inside. He's supposed to be quick but I haven't seen him outpace anyone yet. As a consequence he has completely failed in his primary job of getting to or near the byline and getting crosses into the box. So our (poor) strikers have been starved of chances.
Ironically, when played centrally against Southend he decided to take on two or three defenders at once, several times, and predictably ran into brick walls, losing the ball.
I just haven't seen anything that he's actually good at, so far. As a home produced player I'd love to see him succeed, but he looks well below Football League standard at present.

As much as I sadly dont believe stuarts the man this time (and god did I want to), I dont think anyone will achieve success under the current set up.

WOAP made a good point about managers in general. look at Wycombe, Newport, Harrogate and FGR. All had managers for years and are successful sides. instant success is not a thing in the lower leagues. Just give the man time.

Sorry, can’t agree with your last sentence at all. I can recall 2 occasions when Phil Parkinson was under serious pressure as a City manager. The season he took over from Peter Jackson and when we went on that ridiculous run where we didn’t win for about 20 odd games. During those periods he was calm, wasn’t influenced by a growing number of critics and stuck to his guns. Was he going to turn it around? There were no guarantees, but the fact that the man in charge of inspiring his troops was composed and had a proven method of success to fall back on meant there was half a chance. Now here’s Gary Bowyer’s final interview before his sacking:

Actually feel a bit sorry for the bloke. He was gone mentally, was probably feeling a bit sorry for himself and clearly had no answers to our woeful run of form. When a manager is crumbling under the pressure the chances of them producing a miracle revival is minuscule. When it gets to that stage, simply thinking that time is the answer is very bit naive imo.

Back to our current manager, who out of the 2 examples I’ve used above does McCall most remind you of? I’ll leave that for you to decide.

If you look at the teams at top of league one and league two it’s generally sides who have had a manager in place for a while.
Our problem with Stuart is we know his failings and he doesn’t seem to have learnt from them. Be interesting with a new CEO how we prepare for transfer windows going forward and if that can help Stuart rather than hinder him like it has other managers

Ralph Hasenhutl lost 0-9 against Leicester last season which is the tied worst home defeat in the pl and are now currently top of the league.

    Who.knows what he'd have done?
