I had a decent Saturday afternoon, only watched 25 minutes of the first half, which was apathetic.

Gladly, the rest of my afternoon was really a good one.

    That is all.

    Carry on, as you were.

Agree it's a pity we probably can't find him something to do, also probably a bit expensive..

I had a productive day, only wasted 30 minutes of it watching City. Our CEO has some big decisions to make in the summer.

Oh wow Bantam Dave you missed out on an amazing 65 minutes of football! City were truly exceptional....oh wait, I've just woken up. It was all a dream...as ever.

I had the game on my tv and watched naff all of it whilst Rayner and Kiwomya chatted shat that I couldn’t even be arsed listening to either, a pair of giggling fools.

It’s a mess, the players can’t be bothered and most aren’t fit to wear the shirt. I don’t think T&S are strong enough leaders for this club unfortunately.

I feel for them in a way. They've done the job required to get mid table mediocrity with what is a piss poor squad of players but the good run they had made a rod for their own back which in truth they didn't deserve. I don't think any manager could have got promotion with this shower of shite, thats not to say i think they should be here next season, but trying to turn round the shit left by Rhodes and Rupp is probably a bigger job than being in the hands of two nice guys in Trueman and Sellars.

They might be nice guys but the Bradford City job is too big for them. The expectation of immediate success and promotion as an absolute minimum is just too much pressure for them especially with fans in the stadium. They have to understand that merely surviving is not good enough.

Working... So no live pictures...turned over for the 2000 at home and done on the nod with Master of the Seas, got at 8s this morning.

Did it with the impressive Lazuli in the G3 (Buick as well) in a ew double so got a bit back...

Didn't have a bet in the listed but Mohaafeth for JC was impressive enough (watched on my phone)...

Great having to watch racing on your phone when you have 65"tvs in shop

    Rules be rules, mind

You’re talking like we’re Man Utd or Arsenal. This pressure of success comes from every fan at every club otherwise what’s the point in football?
The Bradford City job isn’t the pinnacle of any managers career. We have been a league 1-2 club for a long long while. We haven’t managed to bounce back like the Leicester’s and Wolves have. You’re talking like we are a big fish in a small pond and a lot of our problems arise from this.

No I’m talking like we have a fanbase 3-4 times that of most league 2 clubs playing in a PL standard stadium. All other clubs of our size that have found themselves in the lower leagues have bounced back quickly. Why can’t we?

Because stadium and fan base count for little in the grand scheme of things, especially lower league football. Look at Peterborough and Sunderland, by your analogy Sunderland should be the one getting promoted this morning but they aren't. Why? Why have Cheltenham finished above Bolton? Heck, even Harrogate are gonna finish a point or two below us in the first season in league football. This idea that we are some kind of big deal in the lower leagues is a myth. The will to succeed has to come from the very top. And that has only hgappened once in my 40 odd years of watching this club with Geoffrey Richmond. If the will to succeed isn't there at the top then chances are it won't.

And they understand that as they have said many times. But survival was the mandate when they were appointed to be followed by promotion in the following season

Is this the reason we threw away the chance to go up this season?

100% agree with the need for ambition and that GR is the only owner ever to have shown that, yet because of the history of the outcome of his ambition we now have to be satisfied with caution and austerity not just from owners but from fans too.
Guess we’ll never see anything higher than league 1 then.

I think a lot of lack of ambition, and happy to have a club to support, is down to the way ML and JR ran the club. The constant talk of no money, leaving VP, been on the edge has drilled the worry into some peoples heads so much they are now worried by any talk of over spend

Any mention of spending money sends some on here into a quivering wreck, citing admins and having no club to support.

yep and that was drilled into them by the previous owners. Every announcement was about deficit, leaving VP, having to strip seats out etc

Another limp, pathetic performance against a team in dire straights. Were it not for Hornby's excellent save after Paudie was pushed off the ball, we'd have lost. We got lucky and stopped the rot as such, but a 0-0 at home to struggling Scunthorpe, in a game that was a dead rubber, is nothing to celebrate.

    Get them fired!
