Different day same sh!t, why do T&S think making the odd player change is going to make any difference, we have no width, no one making runs little from our full backs with regards getting up the pitch in support, nothing changes yet they seem unable to see it or they are not capable of changing it.

Sparks is delaying the inevitable if he keeps them on and gives them 10 games or so. We'll just waste away another season if we sack them mid season and thats something we can't afford.

 

Another tepid show, and another rebuild on the cards what an embarrassing end to the season, always the fall guys and never have our day, even Bolton are on the up, sick of the bull crap that comes out of this club.

Because stadium and fan base count for little in the grand scheme of things, especially lower league football. Look at Peterborough and Sunderland, by your analogy Sunderland should be the one getting promoted this morning but they aren't. Why? Why have Cheltenham finished above Bolton? Heck, even Harrogate are gonna finish a point or two below us in the first season in league football. This idea that we are some kind of big deal in the lower leagues is a myth. The will to succeed has to come from the very top. And that has only hgappened once in my 40 odd years of watching this club with Geoffrey Richmond. If the will to succeed isn't there at the top then chances are it won't.

 

Is this the reason we threw away the chance to go up this season?

Quite a lot laughing on here when it was suggested Bolton and Evatt were gonna be decent earlier in the season. Think it was wetherby whaler who was the most vocal. Well that went well. Might even win the league next week. If only we had followed a similar pattern with a recruitment head in the summer and a good young manager. waste of a season it was there for the taking this year

 

Habit? And to be honest the club are relying on that for next season because there really arent any other positives I can think of

 

SO Scunthorpe concede 16 goals in their last 5 games, and we can’t put 1 past them!
An utter disgrace, completely disrespectful. Get rid of the lot of them! No fight, no desire, no passion, no care, no determination, no belief, no goals, no playoffs NO NOTHING!

 

We have a creaking stadium that we don't own (crucial point) and I really don't believe that post-lockdown, we'll have more than 8 - 10,000 fans at home games as we go forward. Alot of people will have got out of the habit of attending and found other things to do and pursue - a lot more will be turned off by the dismal fare we've been serving up for the past three seasons and beyond. I was really pleased to see how T&S got us out of the shit of very possible relegation into the National. But it was only by playing dull, defensive, attritional football. Horses for courses, they achieved a turnaround. But honest to God - we currently play awful football. Can't keep the ball, seldom threaten in the final third, total hoof merchants in defence. It's bloody poor.

 

I’d still like to see a win because no matter how crap things are, a win makes the weekend that tiny bit better. Last game of the season at home and the remembrance game, give us and them an exciting game to finish with. No more sideways, backwards, hoof. Front foot from the off.

 

I am sacking off the game today to go on a boat cruise with my partner. The last 5-6 games have had a negative impact on my mood, which people have picked up on. I can take a loss, but I can not accept the performances on show. For me, I am losing interest in the club for the first time in my life.

One up top AGAIN, really wish fans were allowed in today, then they would hear what we all think of their appalling tactics.
