Yes that stood out to me from that interview as well, think it should only be a small increase at this time due to Covid etc. Would anyone really not pay say £175 who was will to pay £149 I doubt just over £1 per game would make such a difference. If so then they shouldn’t be buying a season ticket anyway as they should have more important priorities. Football is a want not a need, a luxury that you can either afford or not same with a holiday or big tv. I don’t think we should hike the prices up, but look to steadily increase them in line with our competitors over the coming years if we are to compete as a self sustaining club which seems to be the model. Broncs is right though the best time to rise the prices was on the back of Wembley, the club could have brought far more money in it just didn’t have someone with a footballing business brain to make it happen. Let’s hope we can keep improving and move up the leagues, in which case I’m sure people will happily pay that bit more for better quality and to be competitive.

 

Especially when Sparks is talking about us being self sustainable, where do people expect that money to come from? We’ve never been self sustainable with cheap tickets, we always had a deficit. Helped by player sales and probably more important two miracle cup runs. Any decent CEO won’t make a business plan hoping for that sort of thing to happen again.

If it means STs rising, to finance whether partial or fully, such a project, that's fine in my book.

We have to be sustainable to improve facilities both on and off the pitch.... Oh and the pitch!

Surely the lack of hot water and soap dispensers in toilets is a breach of being a Covid safe venue?

 

I don't know if such a breach exists but can you imagine the annoyance of fans and the negative outcry with the media
