the problem we have is our two hot heads are on yellows .........

 

Our movement off the ball is poor, however when someone makes space he does not receive the ball so he doesn’t bother looking for it next time. Crankshaw always takes an extra touch when a quicker lay off/cross would probably have a better result.

 

Ah but, our modus operandi IS the aimless kick.

Aye, and it's only got more so with the change in keeper unfortunately.

 

Woeful first half performance.

 

Worst defence in the league and we serve up that shite? It is yet another clueless attacking performance that is becoming a concerning trend. We create absolutely nothing.

And we've had a clear week with no games so no excuses for fatigue, Evans poor offering very little, it wont happen at half time but for me Cook & Cousin-Dawson on for Evans & Crankshaw pushing Vernam out wider.

ty's midfield have put the art of passing back to another level, so many accurate 25 yard passbacks tremendous.

Players look to be taking advantage of rookie managers 30% effort all round, i'm a big star Watt and i'm going Wood need to be off.

 

I was hoping after a week to recoup we would have been more capable sadly we are falling back in to bad habits. We are woefully short of midfield quality and creativity..mind you it would help if our passes stuck!

 

As it stands we go up a place..........with Stevenage hot on our heels after kicking Carlisle!

 

They always have an option whereas we seem lost in the final third. We have to step up second half. The 4-2-3-1 is too defensive at home.

 

I would have liked T & S to be given to the end of the season so we could asses then how far the team had come, they’ve made us harder to beat, still waiting on some actual coherent attacking play which you’d hope would come from the coaching team. Bowyer had us top 7 all season and got nothing but abuse, keep playing like this into next season and top half will be very optimistic. I want to see some serious improvement before the end of the season, because even teams lower down out of form down the table look far more a unit than us like Oldham...

 

Fair to say they've improved defensively since Curle joined though.

 

Have a word with yourself, we went on a great run with him in. Without him we are toothless.

 

We need two up top and try put them under at least some pressure and another outlet option

 

Unfortunately we are seeing the lack of strength is depth in certain areas.
