Wow full of excuses.
This club won’t go anywhere in January because the club lacks leadership at the top. Dress everything up as much as you want. Lie to yourself if that makes you feel better but the truth is this club is a mess.
Come January other clubs will spends and get players in and also hope injuries improve. That is football.
Football is about the here and now hence why Ole at end has been sacked. It’s based on results NOW and Adams results haven’t been good enough plus his football is rubbish.
However, Adams is needed because we have a shocking owner and a novice CEO that doesn’t know what he’s doing.
Based on just football though Adam’s currently is failing at his job.

Main one is the lack of interest from our owner which could manifest into lack of sufficient funds to back Adams in the January window. This league is the weakest for years in my opinion and we should have walked the Autos this season. Still plenty of time of course to mount a challenge and I think Adams is the right manager at the helm to give us that chance.Fordy117, WilsdenBantam and donhutchinsaffro like this. -

cheers @Fordy117 - I think that's what they meant on that MBA course I dropped out of.

Rupp does give a damn, he cares about not spending any more money and getting as much as possible for the club when he sells it.
He could help himself by being a little more visible than he is though.Inspector, Bantam-in-Greece and Dennis like this. -
The club has averaged a profit over the last ten years when taking losses from profit, Last year I think the club made a profit of around a million pounds yet investment in the club is low as sustainability rather than ambition is the keyword it seems at the club

The club is running fine as far as any of us can tell, the club is in no peril, there is no jeopardy, the club is being run in a self-sufficient manner, does the club really need saving?
I know people are unhappy that the club isn't receiving serious investment either on the pitch or off it, but it hardly needs 'saving' - we're not on a cliff edge, it's just that some people choose to feel that way because they're not satisfied. Dissatisfaction and danger are worlds apart, whether we like it or not.
I'm absolutely an advocate of a quality DoF, I think people opposing the idea are frankly crazy, I just can't understand where they're coming from at all - I've never heard a convincing argument that it's all just fine long term to let manager's manage and then jump aboard the merry go round of players and coaches, because that is what has disillusioned people, not the fact that Rupp isn't spending quarter of a million pounds on a top quality lower league striker.
There is absolutely no reason this club cannot succeed within it's means IF it chose to actually try to maximise it's potential and increase it's chances of doing well by having a figurehead that plans well in advance and helps run the club in a coherent manner. Which, I don't give a damn what anyone says, is STILL NOT happening.
All this 'In Adams We Trust' stuff is literally a three year plan at best and beyond that, back to spinning the wheel and scrapping around in the dirt for an identity and culture within the club. Sparks has proven beyond question that he is not capable of planning long term, nor should he necessarily be tasked with that. He's a young CEO, not a footballing expert, let him do his job and let someone else do the very, very necessary job of actually BEING that football expert.
We don't need saving, we need organising and running properly.Rogered Tart, Ollylondonbantam and Fordy117 like this. -

Im expecting us to win today. If you can’t have faith in your own team at home then there’s not much point turning up at all is there.
These are obviously no mugs and they look genuine playoff material on the numbers, with a particular strong defence that gives up one of the fewest chances in the league.
but we need to start winning games sooner rather than later and Derek is the dogs bollocks.

If we get the break and finally take the chances that will come our way we could turn the tide today. Important we take no prisoners, get on the front foot from the off, be tight in midfield and resolute in defence. We need to create confidence in what we do.Then with the crowd up for it and roaring the lads on..well how can we fail!
