Both games at home. However we have lost to Crewe, Cheltenham, Plymouth and Forest Green, which you seem to have ignored. So yes beaten two, but lost to four, including one at home.

We have beaten the two top teams in the league and in the case of Swindon more comfortably than the score line suggest.

Apologies drew with Salford but played them of the park. Our league position suggest we are winning enough

Getting a bit carried away there Park !!!!!!!
It must have seemed like a victory not often we play "teams off the park"
Didn't see the game so will have to take your word for that

Let me ask you a question taking into account where we were in the summer and the almost unprecedented injury list are you happy where we stand at the moment.

Not unhappy with our very fortunate position
Concerned about teams below us strengthening in January and putting a run together
Whilst we seem ecstatic with 1-0 wins (I know they still get us 3 points) but one slip and we lose 2 points if we attack and lead 2 or 3 nil which we are more than capable of conceding the odd goal doesn't have the same consequences as what happened in the Salford game
Would you be happy with our current style of play in L1 should we get there under GB

We are not playing in league one we have to get back there and to call us fortunate to be where we are with the injuries we have had and sickness over Christmas I prefer to call it clever management of what we have we will soon be up to full strength and can kick on by the way Bowyer has proved at Blackpool he is more than capable in league one you don’t hear many Blackpool fans complaining about him

So I see the defeats against Crewe, Cheltenham, Plymouth and Forest Green don’t count? Only the victories. So do we get some extra points for those two games We won, or perhaps the defeats against Crewe, Cheltenham, Plymouth and Forest Green will be expunged come the end of the season. Fact is out of six games against teams in the play off positions, we have achieved only two wins!
I cannot believe that you are trying to ‘distort’ the reality! :grinning:

of course there have been defeats Manchester City have lost games. We are sitting fourth in the league with a game in hand which suggests we have won more than lost.

"Its unrealistic to expect to play good football in league 2"

"You kick your way out of league 2"

"Its either win ugly or play nice football and lose"

    My arse.

Playing attacking football is a bonus but 3 points and getting out of this league are priority for me.

I know the subject of depression has been covered on here many times but watching Kevin Ellison saying he suffered for more than a decade brings it home, the last player I'd have thought would have suffered he always came across as a larger than life character, obviously that's how he dealt with it, such a sad condition.

It's not really an example of 'attacking football' in that clip, just an example of a side playing the ball on the ground.

There isn't a single pass in that sequence that our players can't make, but with Reeves back we're far too static both on and off the ball, and the reliance on the centre backs hoofing it forward when not necessary is only symptomatic of the midfielders who refuse to carry the ball forward and seek to pass while standing still.

Bowyer (and junior coach Reeves) may think that's good football, but it's miles behind some of the teams in our own division.

If we drilled patterns of play on the ball as much as we seem to drill them defensively, we would have every chance of scoring an excellent goal like that.

I wasn't replying to the clip I was pointing out I personally don't care how we get out of this league,I would hope with the likes of Donaldson, Devitt etc coming back we can play a more attacking game, but I'm not really bothered, I'll take a promotion through the play offs if that's what it takes.
