I agree, but I do think that nowadays we have several players who can come up with something to unlock a stubborn defence

Good win despite a poor performance need to be much better on the ball, give the man of the match to any of the defenders it was all on them that result.

Once again T&S have shown how good they are at getting players to manage a game. Yes, we looked tired at times - the rush of two games week on, week out, is clearly having an affect. But they stuck it out, great hard won three points. Faithful, you're right - Bolton won't be easy. But I would reckon their players too, will be suffering from no breaks, total full on twice a week matches. However, I am becoming blown away by the way T&S are getting our players to buy into their tactical and game management principles. I don't need to say 'bring on the new' - they're already here. And they're ours! Great piece in the I about T&S - when was the last time that Bradford City was getting credit for being forward thinking??!

I didn’t want to tempt fate but during the 2nd half I never felt that Mansfield would score, our defence is rock solid at the moment, and the team is so well organised.

Not a classic but yet again we found a way to win, this is getting to be a very good habit.

Hats off to all the defense but particularly AOC who was immense, my motm.

    In reverse chronological order:

Bradford 1-0 Mansfield - Danny Rowe
Walsall 1-2 Bradford - Levi Sutton, Andy Cook
Bradford 1-0 Leyton Orient - Callum Cooke
Cheltenham 0-2 Bradford - Andy Cook, Andy Cook
Bradford 2-1 Morecambe - Anthony O'Connor, Charles Vernam
Bradford 2-1 Barrow - Danny Rowe, Callum Cooke
Southend 1-3 Bradford - Gareth Evans, Gareth Evans, Danny Rowe

We've won every game either Rowe or Cook has started (except the first, a 0-0 against Cambridge), and the strikers themselves have scored in 5 out of 7 of those games. Extend it to our 'front four', if you will, and at least one of them has scored a goal in EVERY SINGLE game since Cambridge away, and you could even include Exeter in that one because both Vernam and Crankshaw scored.

Be braced for a meltdown on other social media platforms if we lose against Bolton.

I think we all accept that it wouldn't be any sort of shame to lose a game of football against in-form opposition, but I'm telling ya. Meltdown.

I’m getting greedy for these wins, I spend half an hour in a morning with the fixture list on my phone placed next to the tablet which has the league table on it, (if only we’d beaten Exeter). That’s enough of the ingratitude, an absolutely AMAZING job is being done on our team and feel if we could beat Bolton then the top teams will really start getting worried.

KB, Bolton in great form but Newport, Mansfield and Carlisle not so. I know it's only based on last 5 games but we have to be going into all the games with a good degree of confidence.

I’d like us to start with a quicker tempo than the last home game. We won the game which is good but we were quite pedestrian.

If teams come to park the bus then it would be great if Bryce Hosannah can get fit as quick as possible to get him and woods down the sides of teams and putting the crosses in for Rowe or cook

TBF we now have one of the best squads/off the bench players available to us in League Schmoo. Injuries and suspensions will hit all teams during this crazy run in ( and why the feck haven't the EFL agreed to an extension of our season? Madness) but I think we look better placed than most to overcome the current fixture nonsense.

Ta! No, sorry; that's something I haven't kept an eye on. I once did look at how often we won/drew/lost due to late goals (75th minute onwards), but I don't remember if that went into a post here or C&B.

I do keep track of results after leading/drawing/trailing at HT and at any point in a match; as a general statement, sides that lead at the half or at any point in a match, tend to win, and vice-versa. I suppose that makes sense: get the lead and you can relax a bit, play with more confidence, and so on; trail and the pressure is on, and you are also in danger of conceding more from having to go for goals. It is, however, a mark of a good side to be able to gain points from losing positions; a really good side, I suppose, won't often find a need to do that!

I don't have the numbers in a collection, only individual season files. And as I look at them, I sense that something is not quite right...so I'll have to doublecheck things before posting some examples.

In the last match he played Vernham on the left and Crankshaw on the right from what I have seen Crankshaw gets back more than Vernham.

Anyway, what's everyone drinking tonight ? I'm going for the winning formula of Titus first half, Landlord second. On an unbeaten run with that combo.
