    When asked at the press conference Conor said it was touch and go as to whether or not Evans would be able. There has been a setback with Novak's recovery.

    Not sure about this one, not been working the oppo keeper loads and Cook is a big miss with Rowe looking less convincing as an impact sub of late, Vernam a bit hit and miss and the likes of Clarke only just getting back to fitness. Low score draw.

    Just a gentle reminder ... this is the match thread for the Mansfield game.

    Hmm.

    That's fairly tempting. Seems a good price. Do first scorers still have to start games, or is that an anytime scorer bet?

    One thing's for sure... should Rowe start, as I'd expect, he probably won't play the full 90.

    Actually 50/1 at betfred. Not sure on individual bookmakers but with my lot, if Donaldson came on and a goal had been scored, the bet reverts to a correct score single on 1-0. If Donaldson enters the field of play at 0-0, the whole entity of the bet is live.

    I wouldn't hesitate to start with Rowe and leave him on until he shows signs of tiredness. Other teams fear him ( one commentator recently said it's frightening to think they also have Rowe on the bench if needed). He can turn a game in an instant.

    If Evans doesn't start Crankshaw needs to be disciplined on his defensive duties supporting Wood, who in my opinion is still playing below his best. He doesn't get nearly the amount of balls into the box as previous seasons. Whether that's under instruction or he's just lacking in confidence.

    In the last match he played Vernham on the left and Crankshaw on the right from what I have seen Crankshaw gets back more than Vernham.
