    TBH there's been that much dross in the side in the last 18 months, Wood was always sought as a shining light.
    Now because the standard of the side has markedly improved , some of Woods frailties have surfaced. They've always been there but people were often jumping on other's back's.

    He's always been a 6.5-7.5 out of 10 per game IMO. Might have an 8 a couple of times a season.
    He just didnt make as many mistakes as others around him.
    When you had players of the ilk of Akpan, Wright, Ismail , DMH, Henley, Mellor around you, you would look half decent just by running around , tacking and not giving the ball away as much.
    He's just surrounded by better players now (in their right postions) .

    I don't fear Mansfield, and i certainly don't fear Clough or his tactics. If he was tactically a good manager he wouldn't be plying his trade at Mansfield. He's had opportunities at a much higher level and failed. I think we pay him too much respect.

    What a shame there'll be no fans there on Saturday. Given the form of both teams, you'd be looking at the possibility of a 20k crowd.

    I wouldn't hesitate to start with Rowe and leave him on until he shows signs of tiredness. Other teams fear him ( one commentator recently said it's frightening to think they also have Rowe on the bench if needed). He can turn a game in an instant.

    Important win, all about the 3 points. With the ball, I thought we were poor - again - but our back 4 were outstanding - again. We defend our box so much better now. Canavan and Paudie especially were man mountains. Our defence won us that game.

    We'll need to be better with the ball against Bolton. I think games like this show the value of having either Evans or Clarke in one of the wide roles. They're clever, composed and we have more control with them on the pitch. We need one of them starting on Saturday.

    Pretty sure it's for swinging his arm backwards and catching Wood in the face.

    The assistant flags instantly, and as soon as he makes the referee aware of what he's seen, the red is out.

    Just watched the highlights, definitely the right call, the player has no business swinging his arm like that AND he made contact.
