Yep, would be surprised if he played the same team. He could do as a punishment of sorts maybe. Also to keep them match fit. Otherwise i think training will be gruelling for them.

 

Probably be more players than fans there to witness this training session...

Would say I'm not bothered about it but potentially losing two in a row isn't great.

Let's be honest, we've got 3 tough matches in between league games coming up. If we draw or win any then we might get a bit of a confidence lift but all three will take some effort and losses start to add up eventually.

What if my friend buys an Ifollow pass for the game ?.

 

It’ll be ifollow for me too. Kick off time is a pain in the backside for anyone commuting back from work and its better just to turn the ipad off when the reserves get beat, rather than trekking back to the car and spending a wasted night getting home.

Adams said they start training again tomorrow ( Monday) so he’s hardly like to have Sooty or Oscar playing.?

 

Good opportunity for those on the fringes to stake a claim. What they don’t want, is to come away from the game reaffirming their place on the bench or in the stands, but showing they are capable and ready to push for a starting place next Saturday. Meaningless game to most fans, but is the first real opportunity for a lot of the players who need game time.

 

Agree. Even though I think the competition is laughable, I’m actually planing to watch on ifollow as interested to see those who have had little game time actually get some minutes. For all its laughable structure it’s still a competition with something at stake. Winning breeds a winning mentality. Adams has made it clear he likes to win, even in friendlies. I’d like to think he puts that expectation on the players he selects for tomorrow and in that case, I hope it might be on ok game.

Of course it could equally backfire, we have a shocker with fringe players having a shocker and all hell will break loose on here demanding Adams be fired and blaming ROD, Songo’o and Evans for the result even if they didn’t play!

 

Lincoln City will be up for it having beaten Man United under 21s already in this competition 3 - 2.
I would like to think whoever turns out for us tomorrow night they will put in a winning performance,tin pot trophy or not it should be a given.
