Do you need to be so pessimistic after 4-1 win against a side in the top 5. We’re lacking in a few areas but that was a decent performance today. Let’s hope we keep the run going and sneak in the last play off place.

 

It's not always about speed. More about good anticipation, seeing a run, spotting a chance and having enough pace over a few short yards to make it happen. You can bleep test players all you want, but the best strikers are the ones who sense exactly when to stroll or put a quick dart in. For me Cook and Rowe both know the art.

Having spent a minute talking about the poor decisions, then says that's not an excuse then spends another minute berating the refs performance....fool!! Think he's a plank too Dave. Should have mentioned that his team couldn't cope with the high press, his keeper can't kick, his subs didn't work....blah de blah...

Think I've said it before but this is the first season I've ever posted on other fans' forums...but I love it because it's the chat about the game and club we all love and that's been so missing. Really rooting for you to get into Lg 1 next season...and, as I said, hope we can help.

Every season is massive, and I’d hope those connected would have faith to achieve something here and now not kicking goals to next season. We should have been looking to get promoted last season nevermind think of next. We’re 3 points of the playoffs with 9 games left, even though performances have been poor in the main anything less than going for promotion at this stage is poor imo.

 

Same system though isn’t it, just with Donaldson at 10 instead of Cooke? Donaldson seems to play higher than Cooke, I think instinctively because he’s a striker whereas Cooke is a midfielder. I have to confess, Donaldson has been excellent in the last 2 games. And his long throw is an important weapon.

 

Aw Dave! Don't give up hope just yet.

I would definitely be looking to sign him in the summer, if he keeps fit, he could be our 20 goal a season striker we all crave
