He's quicker and more mobile than some give him credit for. We've seen him in similar positions a few times this season and it usually ends up with him at least getting his shot away.

Not all the centre halves can be cart horses so he must have at least a reasonable turn of pace.

 

Which game was Cooper at certainly not the game I watched , no mention of the great effort that hit the cross bar or the great save from Cooks early volley, what a p***k.

 

Will someone come and punch me in the face................I though the game was today. No wonder damn ifollow said next game bloody Stevenage.

Anyway, they can be as ethical as they like off the pitch but they're a bunch of cheating sh*thouses on it... hope we manage to keep our cool in the face of their gamesmanship and give them the beating they deserve. An early goal would help nullify a lot of it

 

I am not sure what Donaldson will do come the summer break, but whatever happens now he is really proving his worth and sending a message to his dissenters. I am glad he is a Bradford City player.

Enjoyable game, great result and certainly positives to take but we need to start quicker and whilst we won 4-1, feel the scoreline flattered us a little.

Just read your spat on the FGR board Sean. They were after Cooper big time last night but the thread has been taken down as inappropriate.
For me nothing changes with them, screaming for pens, captain conducting a running feud with the ref, etc. To be fair the might have had a pen for Donaldson's high boot and at 3-0 they poured forward with threat. Think they will stagger into the play offs but expect my vegan pie next season.

 

The Don has been a revelation as No 10 in the last two games. Not saying he'll continue to start every game, but I think he'll play an important part in our last nine matches.

 

I'm sure you're right that they will target Donaldson. But he's a big strong boy who will be well used to that over his long career, and he's very good indeed at winning free kicks in dangerous areas, which could work in our favour.

 

1976 the year i really started to go on a regular basis, Ian cooper had been my neighbour for a couple of years before that, he was always good for a kick about on the street. when we drew Southampton in the cup , dad refused to get me a ticket, he went with all his mates on a jolly piss up. I decided there and then , i would not rely on him again to pay for my ability to attend so got a job to earn my own brass . 50p in and 10p for a programme, if i remember correctly.

 

We've been miles better since the 15 min mark. On the front foot, pressing properly, played some good stuff and nearly scored 2 more goals, either of which would have been goal of the season contenders.

 

We need to sign cook in summer, absolute gem of a forward.

 

Fordy if they did not cheat before maybe they may have got it ahh well. ....

There are some on here who have suggested that Cook's overweight. Well I hope he's enjoying his cod and chips tonight after scoring two really well taken goals, plus hitting the crossbar with that audacious lob. Seven goals for us so far. Bloody hell Andy, have some fish patties and mushy peas on the side if you want.
