I agree Songo’o should be playing in midfield for me he is a liability at the back, my concern is you would go Watt over Sutton because Sutton is not influential enough!!!! OMG the only one who actually looks like he gives a shit for non influential you mean Watt he offers absolutely nothing other than giving the ball away and dropping deeper than the centre halves. Sutton is about the only player that actually deserves to be in the team…….

We obviously have a differing opinion in regard these two players. What I'd say is we miss Watt more than Sutton when he's not in the side.

I think he does a good job. You can’t get too stuck in otherwise the club will pull up the drawbridge and stop speaking to him.

Radio Leeds need access to players and management in the week. He’s doing what a good journalist does, probing subtlety, without rubbing DA up the wrong way.

We will have to agree to disagree, I miss Watt doing anything when he is on the pitch so certainly wouldn’t miss him not on the pitch. Our centre halves might find they don’t have someone getting in there way if he wasn’t there. In fairness I do think some of his failings ie dropping deep etc could be to do with the manager and his tactics, I just don’t think he is as good as he thinks he is which is an issue.

 

I miss Watt massively when he doesn't play.

Those "no look" passes into the corners for absolutely no one are usually the highlight of the game.

They're so good that I'm glad he's continued with them all season despite earning nothing more than the odd throw in as anyone else might have given up and worked out that it might be better to just put your foot on it and get your head up now and again.

Just a thought, everyone blaming the budget etc for us not being able to get a half decent striker perhaps in reality it’s Del Boys reputation??? If you were a striker would you want to play in his god awful 4-2-3-1 formation…. He said he was chasing Delfounso from the start of the window perhaps even he was just waiting until the last minute to see if anything else came up when it didn’t he just thought might as well!!!!

 

I've wondered this as well. Delfouneso clearly wants to play football, so if we were in for him at the start of the window, why did it take until the 11th hour of the last day to sign him? Either Adams is lying about being after him from the start, or Delfouneso was hoping another club would come in for him, and was prepared to wait until the last minute to see if they did. Either way he's been poor so far.

Or Bolton wanted us to pay 100% of his wages and we refused. Then they caved in at the end of the window.

 

We will never know, I’m just saying having Dreary Derek in charge can’t help the chances of a decent striker thinking we are a good option.

 

Can’t really comment on him playing in a two as it hasn’t happened all season I’m sure the guy would love someone at the side of him to help him out instead of looking behind him and seeing Watt nestled in as a third centre half!!!!

 

The culture of the club has become cold, ever more fractious and unhappy. Much of it is down to Adams. Not just the lack of results and the paucity of even half decent play on the pitch, but in his shame and blame game towards the fans, the players, the board. How can you take a manager seriously when his team continue to spectacularly underperform and yet...it's always their fault, never his. Most clubs we play press harder, take their chances more clinically - and generally play for 90 minutes not 40-50 minutes game in, game out. He can keep pointing back to his track record but he can't make this squad of players work. We'll end the season bang mid-table and it'll be Groundhog Day again. Please God, not with him in charge. Rupp put your hand in your pocket and pay his contract off now.

Watt is the better central midfielder. Sutton has some great attributes, I'd love to see him as a right wing back.
