It’s not just yesterday though it’s time after time :( if yesterday was a one off then fair enough but this as gone on the majority of the season ..............if he is like you say pushing them up the pitch then why do they continue to sit back ????
I could point to a number of games that this as happened now if that’s happened months ago then why is it not drilled into them on the training ground not to sit so deep ????
Btw he more or less set up the same at Morecambe so it’s no coincidence is it ????
Go a goal up and just sit back is a common theme with this guy

Nah not having that, his team have just produced a good first half creating chances (unfortunately only the one taken ) having 68% possession prior to half time and he says, forget that good first half go out there and defend the1 goal lead.

look at the stat bellow 15 times we’ve gone 1 nil up and on twelve occasions we’ve conceded the next goal .......... surly a team going all out for the next goal won’t concede the next goal on 12/15 occasions ????

It happens too often to be coincidence @Bronco@Bronco. Get on the front foot and close down the space. I sense the players have lost confidence in his tactics. Look at the start of the season and first half yesterday and you can see how the players enjoy the high tempo game. Now look at the remaining 90% of games and you don’t see a smile on their face. They’re not enjoying the tactics employed. The best form of defence is to attack, something we were warned Adams was averse to before he turned up. Regardless of who might join in the next 24 hours, if the instruction is to let the opposition have the ball then we’re fecked.

I don't need to look I don't believe for one minute any manager who's side have played so well the first half would tell those same players to go out and defend a 1 - 0 lead, sorry I can't agree.

That's the point I am disagreeing with, are we seriously saying after playing some decent stuff the first half with 68% possession at one time he sent the players out second half telling them to allow Crawley possession, it doesn't make sense more so if its failed so many times previously.
